DOLMENES DE LAGUARDIA

INFORMACIÓN HISTÓRICO-ARTÍSTICA

En la zona de Laguardia hay una interesante concentración de dólmenes, el dolmen del Sotillo (Laguardia) es muy conocido, está cerca de Leza. Además, tenemos el dolmen de Layaza, de Laguardia (sin señalización), esta cerca de Leza, tiene cámara compuesta de 7 losas con corredor incompleto. Cerca también de Laguardia esta el dolmen de San Martín, en la carretera que va de Laguardia a Leza, descubierto por Barandiaran y Medrano en (1956), con 10 losas con cámara poligonal.

DOLMENS OF LAGUARIDA

HISTORICAL-ARTISTIC INFORMATION

In Laguardia area there are a concentration of dolmens; the dolmen of El Sotillo (Laguardia) is one of the best known, very close to Leza. ACCESO

En la carretera que conecta Leza, Laguardia y Elvillar hay señalizados un gran número de dólmenes, todo depende de los que quieras visitar.

Cerca de Elvillar tienes los de El Encinar y el de Alto de la Huesera; cerca de Leza están los de Layaza y El Sotillo, cerca de Laguardia esta el de San Martín y cerca ya de Cripán el de Los Llanos.

Se accede por pistas de tierra, tienes señalización con la distancia, algo muy útil.

ACCESO PARA MINUSVÁLIDOS

Muchos de ellos son visitables para sillas de ruedas.

LOCATION

TXABOLA DE LA HECHICERA (ELVILLAR)

INFORMACIÓN HISTÓRICO-ARTÍSTICA

Es el más famoso monumento megalítico del país Vasco, muy posiblemente sea incluso el de mayores dimensiones. Dispone de una cámara de 9 ortostatos, que crean una planta poligonal, con una galería de 5 losas más las de cierre; la losa de cubierta, estaba partida en 3 bloques, pero fue restaurada y repuesta Cronología del Neolítico-Calcolítico.

Se encuentra a unos 200 m. de la carretera de Elvillar a Laguardia.

TXABOLA DE LA HECHICERA (ELVILLAR)

POBLADO DE LA HOYA (LA GUARDIA)

INFORMACIÓN HISTÓRICO-ARTÍSTICA

Sabemos que tras desarrollar una muralla de madera, esta fue sustituida por una muralla de piedra de la que se conservan unos 300 metros. También en las viviendas vemos el paso de la fabricación en madera, a la fabricación en piedra con calles enlosadas. La datación arrancaría en la Edad del Bronce (posiblemente en el siglo XV a.C.), con ocupación hasta la Edad del Hierro; en el siglo IV a.C. celtiberos de la Meseta invaden el castro. Las excavaciones de los 70' han sido desarrolladas por el arqueólogo Armando Llanos.

ENTRADAS Y HORARIOS

La entrada es gratuita, horario de invierno (martes a sábado de 11:00-15:00, domingos y festivos de 10:00-14:00) y el horario de verano (martes a viernes de 11:00-14:00 y de 16:00-20:00, para los sábados es de 11:00-15:00, domingos y festivos es de 10:00-14:00) el lunes cierra.

LA HOYA'S SITE (LAGUARDIA)

HISTORICAL-ARTISTIC INFORMATION

Laguardia esta a 18 Km. de Logroño; se accede por el municipio de Laguardia por la N232b y desde Laguardia dirigirse al cruce de El Villar.

La zona excavada dispone de un camino aceptable para sillas de ruedas.
