Ossa de Montiel: Monumentos y turismo


		OSSA DE MONTIEL: La localidad de Ossa de Montiel, pertenece a la comarca de Campo de Montiel y dispone de un gran número de atractivos turísticos; en el casco urbano el monumento más destacado es la iglesia gótica de la Magdalena. Ya junto al arroyo Alarconcillo tenemos el notable castillo mdeieval de Rochafrida con elementos visigodos y musulmanes. También tenemos la cueva de Montesinos que es citada en un capítulo del Quijote y muy cerca se ubica la humilde ermita de San Pedro de Verona. Por último decir que parte del Parque Natural de las Lagunas de Ruidera, pasa por Ossa de Montiel.		OSSA DE MONTIEL: The town of Ossa de Montiel belongs to the Campo de Montiel region and has a large number of tourist attractions; in the urban area, the most interesting monument is the Gothic church of La Magdalena. Atención, hay carreteras con restricciones de velocidad (zona del parque natural), respetalas. 		OSSA DE MONTIEL: En la localidad hay poco aparcamiento, no es recomendable adentrarse mucho. Hay aparcamiento junto a los enclaves (castillo, ermita y cueva de Montesinos). El aparcamiento es gratuito. Vernur colabora con muchos ayuntamientos en la regulación del tráfico de sus municipios, evitando colapsar algunas zonas, lo que provocaría “Turismofobia”, facilitando a la vez el acceso del visitante tanto al aparcamiento como a los centros históricos. 		OSSA DE MONTIEL: Desde Ossa de Montiel para el castillo de Rochafrida, la cueva de Montesinos y las Lagunas coger la AB-612 (carretera de las Lagunas de Ruidera). Es un espacio Natural Protegido con flora y fauna de gran interés, una jornada para disfrutar del contacto con la naturaleza. La distancia máxima en los extremos de esta visita es 100 m. (castillo). La visita se desarrolla por un espacio plano (Montesinos) y de cuestas (castillo). Vernur recomienda que no olvides llevar calzado cómodo y confortable, ropa acorde al clima, un buen sombrero y no olvides hidratarte. 		OSSA DE MONTIEL: En cuanto al firme tenemos (caminos de tierra y piedra). Pavimento recio y compacto. Respecto al desnivel es una zona plana y de cuestas. Con silla de ruedas el acceso es factible a las lagunas de Ruidera. Con silla de ruedas el acceso no es factible al castillo de Rochafrida de Ossa de Montiel (terreno irregular) y a la cueva de Montesinos (escalones). La ermita tiene un escalón a la entrada. La tecnología de las sillas de ruedas ha avanzado mucho, cada vez más ligeras, hay modelos plegables, con todo tipo de adaptaciones, trata de conseguir una moderna, incluso hay ciudades donde se pueden alquilar, contacta con nosotros para añadir información. Es un castillo roquero, la muralla es irregular, adaptada a la topografía del cerro, construida en sillarejo, estado de conservación ruinoso.
