Riopar Viejo: Monumentos y turismo


		RIÓPAR VIEJO: Es una espectacular pedanía de Riópar, que se ubica sobre lo alto de un formidable cerro calizo; es un pueblo que tras su abandono ha sido restaurado, lo que permite disfrutar mejor de la arquitectura tradicional. Tras el paso del hombre neolítico (Yacimiento de la Marija), pasaron los hombres del Bronce, los romanos (tesorillo de Riópar) y los musulmanes que construyeron el primer castillo que sería reformado por los cristianos. Entre sus monumentos además del castillo hay que citar la fuente y la iglesia del Espíritu Santo. Además en Riópar Viejo podrás disfrutar las vistas de sus dos miradores y las colecciones del Museo del Esparto. 		RIÓPAR VIEJO: En la localidad hay poco aparcamiento, no es recomendable adentrarse mucho. Hay un parking junto a la entrada y junto a la iglesia. El aparcamiento es gratuito. Vernur colabora con muchos ayuntamientos en la regulación del tráfico de sus municipios, evitando colapsar algunas zonas, lo que provocaría “Turismofobia”, facilitando a la vez el acceso del visitante tanto al aparcamiento como a los centros históricos. La distancia máxima en los extremos de esta visita es 200 m. La visita se desarrolla por un espacio en ligera cuesta. Vernur recomienda que no olvides llevar calzado cómodo y confortable, ropa acorde al clima, un buen sombrero y no olvides hidratarte. Con silla de ruedas el acceso no es factible la visita es exterior. Cementerio con escalones; Castillo acceso muy empinado y la iglesia de Riopar Viejo tiene un escalón interior. Por una puerta con unos escalones se accede al cementerio de Riopar viejo, aquí se enterraron los buenos vecinos católicos, pues los suicidas y no católicos fueron enterrados dentro del castillo, las tumbas pueden ser visibles fácilmente.

También en el cerro puede admirarse una fuente y una cueva.
