El monasterio de la Concepción de Villarrobledo es una construcción religiosa que data del siglo XVI y que se ubica sobra una anterior del siglo XV; es de estilo renacentista; en el exterior destaca la fachada con arco de medio punto entre 2 contrafuertes; en el interior destaca su única nave con el Cristo de Medinaceli.

La iglesia de San Blas de Villarrobledo es una construcción religiosa que mezcla varios estilos (gótico, renacentista y barroco); en el exterior destaca la puerta gótica de San Blas y la portada sur que se atribuye a Vandelvira; en el interior destaca el retablo barroco-churrigueresco del siglo XVIII.

The church of San Blas of Villarrobledo is a religious building that mixes several styles (Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque); outside we stand out the Gothic door of San Blas and the south façade that is attributed to Vandelvira; inside we stand out the Baroque-Churrigueresque altarpiece of the 18 th century.

El Monasterio de Santa Clara de Villarrobledo es un edificio del siglo XVII, es de estilo barroco-clasicista, en la fachada puede verse el escudo de los donantes, los Cano-Moragón, el interior esta repleto de excelentes obras de arte que sobrevivieron a la Guerra Civil española, gracias a su ocultación, sobresaliendo la imagen de la virgen de la “Teja” y un cuadro atribuido a Conrado Giaquinto.

SANTA CLARA MONASTERY (VILLARROBLEDO)

The Monastery of Santa Clara de Villarrobledo is a 17 th century building, it is Baroque-classicist style, on the façade you can see the shield of the donors, the Cano-Moragón, inside is full of amazing works of art, that survived the Spanish Civil War, thanks to its concealment, stand out the image of the virgin of “La Teja” and a painting attributed to Conrado Giaquinto.

UBICACIÓN DE ENCLAVES:

Villarobledo se encuentra muy cerca de las carreteras N-301 y AP-36 que conectan Ocaña y Albacete; también puede accederse a Villarrobledo desde la A-4 desde Manzanares.

ACCESO PARA MINUSVALIDOS:

Con silla de ruedas el acceso no es factible al monasterio de la Concepción (escalón interior), acceso factible a la iglesia de San Blas ( entrada lateral ). La visita a la Casa de las Columnas es exterior.

LOCATION

Villarrobledo is very close to the N-301 and AP-36 roads that connect Ocaña and Albacete; you can also access Villarrobledo from the A-4 from Manzanares.

ACCESS FOR HANDICAPPED

With Wheelchair access is not feasible to the convent of La Concepción (Inside step), feasible access to the church of San Blas (side entrance). The visit to the House of the Columns is outside.
