The watchtower of La Isleta de El Campello is a tower built in the second half of the 16 th century, in the time of Felipe II, its task was to guard the coast against Saracen pirates and Ottoman attacks, was restored in (1991).

		ACCESO - ALICANTE LUCENTUM: Llegar a Alicante no es complicado, puedes llegar por la A-7 (desde Valencia o Murcia) o por la A-31 (desde Albacete y Madrid); más difícil es acceder al yacimiento, si coges la circunvalación de Alicante A-70 debes salirte por la salida 6 (Alicante Norte), y proceder así: en la primera glorieta todo recto, en la segunda glorieta salida por la derecha, en la tercera glorieta salida por la izquierda y en la cuarta ya aparecen carteles. LA ILLETA: Por la A-7 (en el tramo Valencia-Alicante) salida 676 y coger el camino a El Campello, se entra en la CV-775 que conduce a la costa, llegando directos al yacimiento de la Illeta y a la torre. ACCESO PARA MINUSVÁLIDOS LUCENTUM: Acceso factible con silla de ruedas. LA ILLETA: Acceso factible con silla de ruedas; pero la torre solo visita exterior.
