La iglesia de Santa María de Planes es un edificio de los siglos XVI-XVIII; en el exterior destaca la gran torre-campanario de planta cuadrada, la entrada es adintelada de un gran clasicismo, quizás del siglo XVIII, en el interior destacan sus retablos.

Con silla de ruedas el acceso no es factible al castillo de Planes, hay un escalón en el acceso a Santa María de Planes; pero si podrás acercarte algo al acueducto.
