Santa Maria del Naranco (siglo IX), fue el “Aula Regia” de la monarquía asturiana y por ello es un edificio único en toda Europa, pues este tipo de edificios, de actividad palatina, rara vez se conserva. Tiene 2 pisos, planta rectangular, fustes sogueados, de estilo céltico, contrafuertes, bóvedas de medio cañón y arcos de medio punto peraltados. Muy cerca, se encuentra la Iglesia de San Miguel de Lillo (siglo IX), con contrafuertes, celosías, bóvedas de medio cañón y relieves de aire bizantino. Los horarios son en invierno (octubre-marzo) de martes a sábado (10:00-14:30) y de domingo a lunes (10:00-12:30) y en verano (abril-septiembre) es de martes a sábado de 9:30-13:00 y de 15:30-19:00, y el lunes-domingo es de 9:30-13:00 h. CHURCHES OF NARANCO (OVIEDO) HISTORICAL-ARTISTIC INFORMATIONIn in Oviedo you will see Santa Maria del Naranco and San Miguel de Lillo. Santa Maria del Naranco (9 th century) was the “Aula Regia” of the Asturian monarchy and for this reason it is a unique building throughout Europe, as this type of buildings, of palatal activity, is rarely preserved. It has 2 floors, a rectangular floor plan, roped columns of celtic air, buttresses, half-barrel vaults and arches of high-point. Very close is the church of San Miguel de Lillo (9 th century), with buttresses, beautiful latticework, half-barrel vaults, and reliefs of Bizantine air. UBICACIÓNNARANCO: El acceso es por Oviedo por la carretera que va al monte Naranco; ambas iglesias están a 4 Km. de Oviedo. OVIEDO: La Catedral se ubica en el centro de Oviedo, su torre es fácil de ver. LENA: En Pola de Lena, tenemos la Iglesia de Santa Cristina de Lena, se accede por la A-66 por Pola de Lena, hay cartelería de acceso. ACCESO PARA MINUSVÁLIDOSNARANCO: El discapacitado podrá acceder a San Miguel de Lillo donde no hay barreras arquitectónicas, pero en Santa Maria del Naranco no es posible entrar, por la escalera de acceso. OVIEDO: Es accesible para sillas de ruedas. LENA: Tan solo un peldaño te separa del interior si llevas silla de ruedas, accediendo a la nave central sin problemas, el resto del edificio por las escaleras no es accesible. |

OVIEDO: Accesible for wheelchair. LENA: Only one step separates you to enter, if you have a wheelchair; where you can access to the central nave without any problems, the rest of the building by the stairs is not accesible. |
