BALUARTE MARINERO (PUERTO DE VEGA)

INFORMACIÓN HISTORICO-ARTÍSTICA

El baluarte marinero de Puerto de Vega es una original construcción defensiva contra los ataque de los piratas. Puerto de Vega tiene una estatua dedicada a Jovellanos, el Museo Etnográfico de Juan Pérez Villamil y como en otros pueblos pesqueros no falta la Lonja con su espadaña, en el barrio alto se puede admirar la iglesia de Santa Marina

La subasta de la lonja puede verse a las 17:30 los lunes, miércoles y jueves.

SAILOR BASTION (PUERTO DE VEGA)

HISTORICAL-ARTISTIC INFORMATION

The sailor bastion of Puerto de Vega is an original defensive building against the attacks of pirates. Puerto de Vega has a statue dedicated to Jovellanos, the Ethnographic Museum Juan Pérez Villamil and like other fishing villages no lack a Lonja with its belfry, in the upper quarter you can admire the church of Santa Marina.

INFORMACIÓN HISTORICO-ARTÍSTICA

Tapia de Casariego tiene un aire urbanita, en la plaza del ayuntamiento puede verse la estatua del héroe local, Don Fernando J. Villamil, héroe de Cuba; también aquí tenemos la iglesia parroquial; pero realmente el pueblo destaca más por el turismo de playa, hay una amplia nómina de playas muy recomendables.

SAILOR VILLAGE (TAPIA DE CASARIEGO)

HISTORICAL-ARTISTIC INFORMATION

Tapia de Casariego has an urban air, in the town hall square you can see the statue of the local hero Don Fernando J. Villamil, hero of Cuba; also here we have the parish church, but reaally the town stands out more for beach tourism, there is a wide number of beautiful beachs.

Todos los pueblos mencionados se ubican en la costa se accede fácilmente desde la A-8. En diferentes salidas podrás acceder: Puerto de Vega (salida 474) Tapia de Casariego (salida 495)

LOCATION

All the mentioned towns are located on the coast, easily accessed from the A-8. In different exists you can access Puerto de Vega (exit 474), Tapia de Casariego (exit 495).

El acceso para minusválidos es:

PUERTO DE VEGA: La lonja tiene escalones en la entrada. La entrada de Santa Marina son 68 cm., y la Ermita de la Atalaya tiene un ancho de entrada de 60 cm.

TAPIA DE CASARIEGO: Con silla de ruedas visita exterior. Entrada lateral en la iglesia ancho 1,21 cm.

Access for handicapped is:

PUERTO DE VEGA: The fish market has steps at the entrance. The entrance of Santa Marina is 68 cm. (2.25 ft) and the hermitage of La Atalaya has an entrance width of 60 cm (1.9 ft)

TAPIA DE CASARIEGO: With wheelchair visit outside. Side entrance in the church width 1,21 m (3.96 ft)
