CUEVA TITO BUSTILLO (RIBADESELLA)

INFORMACIÓN HISTÓRICO-ARTÍSTICA

Ubicada en Ribadesella, es un gran santuario de la prehistoria mundial.

Esta cueva dispone de magníficas pinturas rupestres, es famosísima su “galería de los caballos”, destacando las manifestaciones fálicas, según Rodrigo de Balbín.

Además, la red conecta con la caverna de la Lloseta y con el llamado “Camarin de las Vulvas”, donde se desarrolla una muestra de elementos sobre la fecundidad de la mujer.

Las pinturas se datan en el Paleolítico Superior, casi todas en el Magdaleniense.

El Museo que recoge el momento del descubrimiento de la cueva por un grupo de espeleólogos aficionados (en 1968) es muy emotivo, con una musealización notable, tienda, biblioteca y personal especializado y atento.

HISTORICAL-ARTISTIC INFORMATION

The museum that show the moment of discovery of the cave by a group of amateur speleoligists in (1968) is very emotional, with a very spectacular presentation, store, library and very specialized and attentive staff.

ENTRADAS Y HORARIOS

El Centro de Arte Rupestre tiene horario de febrero a junio y de septiembre a diciembre de miércoles a viernes de 10:00-14:30 y 15:30-18:00, sábados, domingos y festivos abre de 10:00-14:30 y de 16:00-19:00; y en julio y agosto el horario es de miércoles a domingo de 10:00-19:00, cierra lunes y martes. La Cueva abre del 16 de marzo al 30 de octubre, de miércoles a domingo, el primer pase es a las 10:15 y el último a las 17:00 h, lunes y martes cerrado. Los grupos se realizan con guía y limitado a 15 personas. La visita combinada de Centro y cuevas vale 7,34 €, con entrada reducida. La tramitación de la reserva (imprescindible para la visita) se realiza en el teléfono de contacto número 902.306.600

The Rock Arte Center have a timetable from February to June and from September to December from Wednesday to Friday from 10 am to 2,30 pm and from 3,30 pm to 6 pm; on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays open from 10 am to 2,30 pm and from 4 pm to 7 pm; and in July an August the timetable is from Wednesday to Sunday from 10 am to 7 pm, closed on Monday and Tuesday. The cave open from March 16 th to October 30 th from Wednesday to Sunday, the first pass is at 10,15 am and the last at 5 pm; Monday and Tuesday closed. The groups are guided and limited to 15 persons. The combined visit of Center and caves is € 7,34. IDOLO DE PEÑA TU (VIDIAGO)

INFORMACIÓN HISTORICO-ARTÍSTICA

En el Idolo de Peña Tu (Llanes), lo más destacado del conjunto es el gigantesco ídolo con un puñal, esta pintado y grabado. Hay también pinturas rupestres del Neolítico, pintadas en color rojo, representando de manera esquemáticas diversas figuras humanas. Dispone además de un centro de interpretación. Por el puñal representado se fecha el conjunto en el Bronce Antiguo, otras pinturas son neolíticas.

Visita libre de miércoles a viernes (10:00-17:00).

IDOL OF PEÑA TU (VIDIAGO)

HISTORICAL-ARTISTIC INFORMATION

In the Idol of Peña Tu (Llanes), we highlight in the group the gigantic idol with a dagger, it is painted and engraved. There are also Neolithic rock paintings, painted in red, representing in a schematic way various human figures. It also has an interpretation center. By the dagger represented the set is dated in the Ancient Bronze, other paintings are Neolithic.

UBICACIÓN DE ENCLAVES:

PEÑA TÚ: Por la A-8 podemos acceder por la salida 285 (Pendueles-Vidiago) El Ídolo de Peña Tu se ubica en la localidad de Puertas de Vidiago, se accede por la N-634, desde el centro de recepción hay que subir unos 15-20 minutos a pie.

RIBADESELLA: La localidad de Villaviciosa se ubica entre Gijón y Ribadesella, es muy fácil acceder a ella a través de la A-8.

LOCATION

PEÑA TU: By the A-8 we can access by the exit 285 (Pendueles-Vidiago). The idol of Peña Tu is located in the town of Puertas de Vidiago, accessed by the N-634, from the Center of Reception you have to go up about 15-20 minutes on foot.

RIBADESELLA: The town of Villaviciosa is located between Gijón and Ribadesella, it is very easy to access it, through the A-8.
