Alvalade-Ferreira: Monumentos y turismo


		ALVALADE: Se ubica en la antigua región de Baixo Alentejo, en el actual distrito de Beja. Es una localidad ubicada junto al río Sado. Entre los principales monumentos, destacaremos el puente medieval (ubicado a las afueras y al norte del pueblo); Ademas, en la localidad tenemos la pequeña iglesia de Nossa Senhora da Conceição. En la carretera de Santiago do Cacem (N-261) tenemos el Museo da Farinha. FERREIRA DO ALENTEJO: Se ubica en la antigua región de Baixo Alentejo, en el actual distrito de Beja. Es una comarca te tierras fértiles y grandes olivares; con una gastronomía famosa en todo Portugal con magníficos embutidos y pan da ajo. Entre los principales monumentos, destacaremos la famosa y original Capela do Calvario. A las afueras puede visitarse las ruinas de la iglesia de Vilas Boas (junto a la N-121). Por Ferreira pasa además la N-2 (Montemor o Novo – Castro Verde) y por Alvalade la N-261 (Santiago do Cacem-Aljustrel). Pavimento recio y compacto. Respecto al desnivel es una zona plana. Hay bordillos en las aceras. INFO HISTÓRICO-ARTÍSTICA

El Puente Medieval, realmente es una construcción del siglo XVI, tampoco se descarta que tenga orígenes en un antiguo puente romano. Se ubica en la Ribeira de Campilhas, tiene 53 metros de longitud y unos 4 m. de ancho.

The Medieval Bridge really is a building from the 16 th century, but scholars think that is possible an origin of an ancient Roman Bridge. It is located in the Ribeira da Campilhas, it is 53 metres long and it is 4 metres width.
