CASTELO (MOURA)

El castelo de Moura se encuentra enmascarado por un conjunto de casas, dentro lo más visible es la gran torre de homenaje, sabemos que fue reconstruido por el rey D. Dinis (siglo XIII) y después por el rey Manuel I (siglo XVI); dentro destaca el museo de Armas.

VISITA : En verano (Mayo-septiembre) de lunes a domingo de 10:00 a 18:00 y horario de invierno (Octubre-abril) de lunes a viernes de 9:00 a 17:00, sábados, domingos y festivos de 10:00 a 17:00.

CASTLE (MOURA)

The castle of Moura is masked by a group of houses, inside the most visible is the large tower of homage, we know that it was built by King D. Dinis (13h century) and later by King Manuel (16th century); inside the Weapons Museum stands out.

TORRE DEL RELOJ (MOURA)

Formando parte de la antigua alcazaba mora, tenemos la famosa torre del reloj, de cronología incierta, por las continuas restauraciones.

TOWER OF THE CLOCK (MOURA)

Being part of the old Moorish citadel, we have the famous clock tower, of uncertain chronolody, by the continous restoration.

IGLESIA DE S. JOAO (MOURA)

La iglesia de Sao Joao Baptista es quizás el edificio más interesante de la localidad de Moura, destaca su fachada de frontón triangular con gran torre y puerta con elementos gotizantes y manuelinos.

CASTELO DE NOUDAR (BARRANCOS)

En el siglo XII el castillo paso a manos portuguesas, es un castillo de sillarejo, con torres cuadradas, con una gran torre de homenaje; dentro además tenemos la casa del Gobernador y la iglesia de Nuestra Señora de Entre Aguas de los siglos XVI-XVIII; además pueden verse pozo, cisterna, puerta falsa y horno

VISITA : Horario de verano (Abril-Octubre) de 10:00 a 5:30 y horario de invierno (Noviembre-Marzo) de 10:00 a 4:30, lunes cerrado.

CASTLE OF NOUDAR (BARRANCOS)

In the 12 th century the castle passed into Portuguese hands, it is a castle of rubblework, with square towers, with a great keep; inside we also have the house of the Governor and the church of Our Lady of Entre Aguas from 16-18 th centuries; you can also se well, cistern, false door and oven.

VISIT : Summer time (April-October) from 10:00-17:30 and winter time (November-March) from 10:00-16:30, closed Monday.

ACCESO A MOURA-BARRANCOS : A Moura se accede desde Vidigueira (en la IP2 tramo Évora-Ourique) cogiendo la N-258.

Barrancos se ubica en la frontera junto a Encinasola (Huelva), desde Moura puedes llegar por la N-386. Para el castillo has de coger una pista en mal estado, pero factible con vehículo normal.

ACCESO PARA MINUSVÁLIDOS : Con silla de ruedas puedes acceder a la iglesia de Sao Joao, mientras los demás monumentos solo el exterior. Para el castelo de Noudar es necesario ayuda, en el repecho de entrada y otros puntos del interior.

ACCESS TO MOURA-BARRANCOS : To Moura to can access from Vidigueira (on the IP1 section Évora-Ourique) taking the N-258.

Barrancos is loacted next to the Spanish border, next to Encinasola (Huelva), from Moura you can arrive by the N-386. For the castle you have to take a track in poor condition, but feasible with normal vehicle.

ACCESS FOR THE HANDICAPPED : With a wheelchair you can access the church of Sao Joao, while the other monuments are only outside. For the castle of Noudar is necessary help, in the entrance slope and in other points of the inside.
