CASTELO (ALCACER DO SAL)

Sobre el cerro que domina la localidad se ubica Alcacer do Sal, sus orígenes fueron almohades de fines del siglo XII, la torre de Algipe, una torre monumental de planta octogonal corona el edificio.

CASTLE (ALCACER DO SAL)

In the hill that dominates the town is located Alcacer do Sal, its origins were Almohads from the late 12 th century with the tower of Algipe, a monumental octagonal tower crowns the building.

IGLESIA ESPIRITU SANTO (ALCACER DO SAL)

La iglesia del Espíritu Santo de Alcácer do Sal es una iglesia de estilo manuelino, del siglo XVI, la fachada es de frontón triangular, coronada con una cruz, en un lado se ubica la torre campanario con pináculos, las esquinas del templo se resaltan con la sillería.

ESPIRITU SANTO CHURCH (ALCACER DO SAL)

The church of the Holy Spirit of Alcacer do Sal is a Manueline style church, from the 16 th century, the façade is triangular pediment, crowned with a cross, on a side is the bell tower with pinnacles, the corners of the temple are highlighted with the ashlar.

SANTUARIO MARTIRES (ALCACER DO SAL)

El Santuario del Señor de los Mártires de Alcácer do Sal, tiene un magnífico ábside con bonitos ventanales góticos ejecutados en una sólida sillería.

VISITA : El horario es de 10:00 a 12:30 (martes a sábado).

MARTYRS' SANCTUARY (ALCACER DO SAL)

The Sanctuary of the Lord of the Martyrs of Alcacer do Sal, has a magnificent apse with beautiful Gothic windows executed in a solid ashlar masonry.

VISIT : The opening hours is from 10:00-12:30 (Tuesday-Saturday).

RUINAS ARQUEOLÓGICAS (ALCACER DO SAL)

En el castillo de Alcácer do Sal pueden contemplarse las ruinas de época árabe, tan solo se conservan los cimientos de diversas estructuras domésticas de sillarejo.

ARCHAEOLOGICAL REMAINS (ALCACER DO SAL)

In the castle of Alcacer do Sal you can see the ruins of the Arab period, only the foundations of various domestic structurs of rubblework are preserved.

RUINAS ROMANAS (TROIA)

Las ruinas romanas de Centobriga disponen de diversos establecimientos, desde una fábrica de salazones, pasando por una zona de termas, un mausoleo y una zona de necrópolis con tumbas. El complejo se data entre los siglos I y VI.

VISITA : Entrada 5€. Horario de octubre a mayo (primer sábado a las 15:00), junio y septiembre los sábados a las 15:00 y julio y agosto miércoles y sábados a las 10:30.

ROMAN REMAINS (TROIA)

The Roman ruins of Centobriga have various establishments, from a salted fish factory, through a Thermal area, a mausoleum and a necropolis area with tombs. The complex is dated between the 1 st and the 6 th centuries.

VISIT : Admission €5. Openning hours from October to May (1st Saturday at 15:00), June and September on Saturdays at 15:00 and July and August is Wednesdays and Saturdays at 10:30 am.

ACCESO A LUGAR : A Alcácer do Sal se accede por la IC-1 (Lisboa-Grandola), en Alcácer hay carteles para Troia.

ACCESO PARA MINUSVÁLIDOS : Con silla de ruedas se puede visitar el exterior del castillo, de las ruinas arqueológicas, y parcialmente el interior del santuario y de la iglesia del Espíritu Santo. Las ruinas romanas de Troia disponen de un itinerario de visita con escaleras en algún sector.

ACCESS TO ALCACER : Alcacer do Sal is accessed by IC-1 (Lisbon-Grandola) in Alcacer there are signs for Troia.

ACCESS FOR HANDICAPPED : With wheelchair you can visit the outside of the castle, the archaeological ruins and partially the inside of the sanctuary and the church of the Holy Spirit. The Roman ruins of Troia have a visit itinerary with stairs in some sector.
