El Museo do Pao de Seia es un museo privado que exhibe todo tipo de objetos relacionados con el pan, destacando los relacionados con la producción, desde aperos hasta molinos; incluso en una sección podemos ver todos los objetos artísticos inspirados en el pan.

IGLESIA MISERICORDIA (SEIA)

INFORMACIÓN HISTORICO-ARTÍSTICA

La iglesia de la Misericordia de Seia, se remonta al siglo XVI, pero el actual edificio es barroco y sobre todo del siglo XVIII, la fachada tiene una larga escalinata, el arco de acceso es rebajado, encima hay 3 ventanas y escudo sobre el frontón partido; tiene además torre con campanario.

CHURCH MIERICORDIA (SEIA)

HISTORICAL-ARTISTIC INFORMATION

The church of Miericordia of Seia, dates back to the 16 th century, but the current building is Baroque and especially the 18 th century, the facade has a long staircase, the access arch is segmental, above there are 3 windows and shield on the split pediment; it also has a tower with a bell tower.

La iglesia de la Asunción de Seia, es una iglesia que data de la segunda mitad del siglo XIX, es de estilo neobarroco, el acceso es por un arco rebajado, encima hay un ventanal y la hornacina de la virgen, culminando en un frontón partido con una cruz, a los lados tenemos 2 torres con campanario con su reloj.

The church da Assunçao of Seia, is a church that dates from the second half of the 19 th century, is neo-baroque style, the access is by a segmental arch, above there is a window and the niche of the virgin, culminating in a split pediment with a cross, on the sides we have 2 towers with bell towers with its clock.

The church of San Pedro de Gouveia is a building tht dates from the 17 th century, are very remarkable all the elements of Manueline aesthetics as large panels of tiles; on the facade we highlight the 2 bell towers with clock, the 2 large pilaters; the curious pediment with volutes and large circle.

La iglesia de San Julián (Sao Juliao) de Gouveia es un edificio de los siglos XVII-XVIII con elementos de estética manierista y rococó; en el interior destaca el coro alto de madera; en el exterior lo más interesante es la fachada con arco rebajado, flanqueado por columnas, con un ventanal monumental y frontón partido con remates de estética rococó y alta torre lateral.

The church of Sao Juliao of Gouveia is a building of the 17 th -18 th centuries with elements of Mannerist and Rococo aesthetics; inside, the tall wooden choir stands out; outside, the most interesting is rhe facade with segmental arch, flanked by columns, with a monumental window and split pediment with Rococo aesthetic tops and tall side tower.

CASA DA TORRE (GOUVEIA)

La Casa da Torre de Gouveia, también es conocida como Palacio de los Távoras (marqueses de Gouveia), es una construcción medieval, con algunos elementos del siglo XVI; con planta rectangular, es una construcción de sillería, de 3 plantas, bastante alterada por el tiempo, pero son muy interesantes los canecillos y el arco geminado.

HOUSE DA TORRE (GOUVEIA)

House da Torre de Gouveia, also known as the Palave of Távoras (marquises of Gouveia), is a medieval building, with some elements from the 16 th century; with rectangular plan, it is a ashlar masonry building, with 3 floors, quite altered by time, buut the corbles and the double arch are very interesting.

ANTA DA ORCA (GOUVEIA)

INFORMACIÓN HISTORICO-ARTÍSTICA

El anta da Orca, también conocido como el dolmen de Río Torto es el más importante del Concejo de Gouveia, este monumento megalítico data del periodo neolítico con cerca de 8.000 años de antigüedad, el dolmen consta de una cámara funeraria tapada con una gran losa y de un corredor de acceso, en origen todo el conjunto estuvo cubierto.

DOLMEN DA ORCA (GOUVEIA)

HISTORICAL-ARTISTIC INFORMATION

The dolmen da Orca, also known ad dolmen of Río Torto is the most important of the Council of Gouveia, this megalithic monument dates from the Neolithic period with about 8,000 years old, the dolmen consists of a burial chamber covered with a large slab and of an access corridor, in origin the whole set was covered.

La iglesia de San Pedro de Manteigas se remonta al siglo XV, pero el edificio actual es mucho más moderno, pues ha sufrido importantes restauraciones, las últimas son del siglo XX; dispone de una fachada de estilo neobarroco, de frontón partido con pináculos, hornacina para el santo, ventanales, puerta adintelada y torre-campanario.

The church of San Pedro de Manteigas dates back to the 15 th century, but the current building is much more modern, since it has undergone important restorations, the last works are from the 20 th century; it has a façade of neo-baroque style, with a pediment with pinnacles, a niche for the saint, large windows, a lintel door and a bell tower.

UBICACIÓN DE ENCLAVES:

Nos encontramos con pueblos de la Serra da Estrela una zona remota de Portugal; Manteigas y Gouveia se ubican en la N-232 (Mangualde-Belmonte, esta ciudad se ubica junto a la A-23); mientras Seia se ubica junto a la N-17 (Coimbra-Celorico da Beira).

El Anta da Orca esta en la carretera de Seia (indicado)

LOCATION OF SITES

We find villages in Serra da Estrela a remote area of Portugal; Manteigas and Gouveia are located on the N-232(Mangualde-Belmonte, this city is located next to the A-23); while Seia is located next to the N-17 (Coiimbra-Celorico da Beira).

The dolmen da Orca is on the road to Seia (signposted).

ACCESO PARA MINUSVALIDOS:

SEIA: Con silla de ruedas acceso factible al museo del Pan, y a la iglesia de la Asunción ( escalón ); pero no es factible el acceso a la iglesia de la Misericordia.

GOUVEIA: Con silla de ruedas acceso no factible a la iglesia de San Pedro (escaleras), pero acceso factible a la iglesia de San Julián, acceso no factible a la casa da torre (escaleras) y factible al dolmen (vegetación, firme irregular)

MANTEIGAS: Acceso factible a la iglesia de San Pedro de Manteigas.

ACCESS FOR HANDICAPPED

SEIA: Wheelchair access feasible to the Bread Museum and to the church of Assunçao (step); but access to the church of Miericordia is not feasible.

GOUVEIA: Wheelchair access not feasible to the church of Sao Pedro (stairs), but feasible access to the church of Sao Julian, access not feasible to the tower-house (stairs) and feasible to the dolmen (vegetation, irregular firm).

MANTEIGAS: Access feasible to the church of Sao Pedro of Manteigas.
