		CIUDAD ROMANA DE IULIOBRIGA (RETORTILLO) INFORMACIÓN HISTÓRICO-ARTÍSTICA Se trata de una ciudad romana fundada por Augusto (hacia 15-13 a.C.), en honor de su padre adoptivo, tras finalizar las Guerras Cántabras, dispone de 20 hectáreas. Hoy, podemos admirar, construcciones de sillería y mampostería de arenisca, algunos muros se decoraron con estucos; también tenemos una calle porticada tras el foro. En el foro pueden verse las tabernae, igualmente se encontraron mosaicos en las excavaciones. Podrás disfrutar de la reconstrucción de una domus romana. ENTRADAS Y HORARIOS Horario de invierno (noviembre-febrero) de 9:30-15:30, en primavera (marzo- 14 de junio), en otoño (15 de septiembre-octubre) es de 9:30-14:30 y 15:30-18:30; y el horario de verano (15 de junio a 14 de septiembre) es de 9:30-14:30 y de 15:30-19:30, cerrando los lunes. Posibilidad de contratar visitas guiadas (español e inglés). Entrada 3 € y reducidas. UBICACIÓN

Para Retortillo hay que coger la N-611 o mejor la via A-67, que une Santander con Aguilar de Campoo (población del norte de Palencia), y coger la salida 133 (Reinosa sur), después en la primera glorieta, coger la carretera que va a Bolmir, cruzaremos el pueblo todo recto y veremos cartelería para Juliobriga y la iglesia.

ACCESO PARA MINUSVÁLIDOS

IULIOBRIGA: No tenemos grandes barreras para sillas de ruedas, pero el firme es la hierba natural.

IGLESIA: No accesible para sillas de ruedas, solo el exterior.

To get to Retortillo yo have to take the N-611 or better the A-67, which connects Santander with Aguilar de Campoo (village of the north of Palencia) and take exit 133 (Reinosa sur), then at the first roundabout, take the Bolmir road, cross the village straight ahead and we will see signpostes for Iuliobriga and Retortillo and the church.
