Es muy conocida la Fiesta de la Virgen de los Remedios (7-11 de Septiembre), patrona de Belmez, con su bonita e interesante procesión a la ermita.

Es un castillo de planta rectangular de 60 x 50 metros, con una única entrada y torres cuadradas, las murallas fueron construidas en tapial, son de 1, 5 metros de ancho.

Se datan durante el emirato omeya (756-912). Es Bien de Interés Cultural desde (1985).

El Castillo de Belmez, se encuentra en lo alto de un cerro-montaña, las primeras estructuras pueden datarse en el siglo XIII, pero el edificio actual es del siglo XV.

Sabemos que perteneció a la Orden militar de Calatrava, la torre de homenaje es de planta pentagonal y tiene 11 m de altura (36 ft).

La localidad minera de Peñarroya tiene diversos elementos del pasado minero que merecen ser conocidos y visitados como el Barrio Francés con sus chalets, la Sede Directiva (hoy un geriátrico) y el Centro Social, que es la actual Biblioteca Municipal. Mientras las iglesias son del siglo XX, como la iglesia de El Salvador.

También tenemos varios museos como el Museo Geológico y la Fábrica de Harinas.
