En el siglo XVII se realizaron importantes trabajos como la colocación del retablo mayor y la cúpula semiesférica, posteriormente en el siglo XVIII se erigió la torre y se compró el órgano

LOS REMEDIOS (ZUHEROS)

The church of Los Remedios de Zuheros, is a building of the 16th century, was formerly under the dedication of Santa Maria. In the 17 th century important works were carried out, such as the placement of the main altarpiece and the hemispherical dome, later in the 18 th century the tower was erected and the organ was bought.

CASTILLO (ZUHEROS)

El castillo de Zuheros, se data en el siglo IX y es obra de los árabes, pero fue muy reformado en los siglos XII y XIII, posteriormente, hacia el siglo XVI se edificaron las estructuras del palacio renacentista. Gran parte del castillo se construyó adaptando los muros a la topografía del terreno.

CASTLE (ZUHEROS)

The castle of Zuheros, dates from the 9 th century and is the work of the Arabs, buy it was very reformed in the 12 th and 13 th centuries, later, around the 16 th centuriy the structures of the Renaissance palace were built. Much of the castle was built adapting the walls to the topograhy of the land.

CUEVA DE LOS MURCIELAGOS (ZUHEROS)

Tenemos una cueva cuyo recorrido es de 2 kilómetros pero tan solo 450 metros son visitables. Cronología del Neolítico Antiguo y Medio. También hay niveles del Musteriense (P. Medio) y del Paleolítico Superior.

CAVE OF LOS MURCIELAGOS (ZUHEROS)

We have a cave whose route is 2 kilometers but only 450 meters are visible. Chronology of the Ancient and Middle Neolithic. There are also levels of the Mousterian (Middle P.) and the Upper Paleolithic.

ACCESO A ZUHEROS :

Coger desde Córdoba la N-432 y tras pasar Baena coger la A-318 desde donde sale la carretera a Zuheros. La cueva se ubica a 4 Km. de Zuheros, en la cima del cerro de los Murciélagos.

ACCESO PARA MINUSVÁLIDOS :

El castillo y cuevas son inaccesibles con silla de ruedas, respecto a la iglesia de los Remedios y el museo tienen un pequeño escalón en la entrada.

ACCESS TO ZUHEROS :

Take the N-432 from Córdoba and after passing Baena take the A-318 from where the road to Zuheros starts. The cave is located 4 Km from Zuheros at the top of Cerro de los Murcielagos.

ACCESS FOR HANDICAPPED :

The castle and the caves are inaccessible with a wheelchair, with respect to the church of Los Remedios and the musuem have a small step at the entrance.
