CASTRO (ESPASANTE)

El castro celta de Espesante conocido como “Punta dos Prados” se ubica en un cerrito en una península. Pueden verse estructuras rectangulares y una muralla arrasada, todo de mampostería de piedra.

IGLESIA S. ANDRÉS (TEIXIDO)

INFORMACIÓN HISTORICO-ARTÍSTICA

La iglesia de San Andrés de Teixido, fue un foco monástico en el siglo XII, pero el edificio es de estilo gótico marinero, del siglo XV, destacando un arco gótico y otro conopial; después se realizó una nueva fachada y una torre que se datan en el siglo XVIII.

Los horarios de misa en verano e invierno, laborables y festivos es a las 12:15.

S. ANDRÉS CHURCH (TEIXIDO)

HISTORICAL-ARTISTIC INFORMATION

The church of San Andrés de Teixido was a monastic complex un the 12 th century, but the building is Gothic sailor style, from 15 th century, highlighting a Gothic arch and another ogee; later a new façade and a tower were built, dating back to the 18 th century.

CASTILLO (CEDEIRA)

INFORMACIÓN HISTORICO-ARTÍSTICA

El castillo de la Concepción de Cedeira, se data en el siglo XVIII, en planta el castillo es hexagonal, con varias explanadas; con gruesos muros con almenas; también podemos ver el Centro de Interpretación del castillo.

Visita los sábados y domingos de 12:00 a 17:00, para otros días concertar visita (grupos) al 981.482.187.

The castle of a Concepçao of Cedeira, dates in 18 th century, the plan of the castle is hexagonal, with several flats; with thick walls with battlements; we can also see the Interpretation Center of the Castle.

(CEDEIRA-ORTIGUEIRA)

UBICACIÓN DE ENCLAVES:

ESPASANTE: Se accede por la carretera AC-862 (Viveiro-Ortigueira), donde encontraremos un cartel “Porto de Espesante” que lleva directo al pueblo y detrás de el se ubica el castro.

TEIXIDO: Se accede por la carretera AC-862 (Viveiro-Ortigueira), ir a Cedeira y allí arranca la carretera para San Andrés de Teixido.

CEDEIRA: Se accede por la carretera AC-862 (Viveiro-Ortigueira), una vez en el pueblo hay que cruzar el río, donde ya hay indicaciones.

LOCATION

ESPASANTE: You can access by the AC-862 road (Viveiro-Ortigueira), where we will find a signposte “Porto de Espasante” that go directly to the town and behind is located the fort.

TEIXIDO: You can access by the AC-862 road (Viveiro-Ortigueira), go to Cedeira and there starts the roads to San Andrés de Teixido.

CEDEIRA: You can access by the AC-862 road (Viveiro-Ortigueira), once in the town you have to cross the river, where there are already signpostes.
