Belmonte: Monumentos y turismo


		BELMONTE: Excavaciones arqueológicas en la Colegiata permiten remontar los orígenes de la localidad a época visigoda. En época medieval se conocía como Bellomonte, el apogeo de la localidad se sitúa entre los siglos XV y XVIII; así en el siglo XV, Juan Pacheco, marqués de Villena, mando construir el castillo y la colegiata de San Bartolomé. Además puedes visitar el Palacio del Infante Don Juan Manuel, la Plaza del Pilar y el Hospital de San Andrés. Esta tranquila y bonita localidad tiene rincones preciosos que esperan a que los descubras.		BELMONTE: Archaeological excavations in the Collegiate Church allow to date the origins of the town at Visigoth period. In medieval times it was known as Bellomonte, the apogee of the town is between the 15 th and 18 th centuries; Then, in the 15 th century, Juan Pacheco, Marquis of Villena, ordered the building of the castle and the collegiate church of San Bartolomé. 		BELMONTE: En la localidad hay poco aparcamiento, no es recomendable adentrarse mucho. Hay espacio junto a la N-420 (también junto al castillo). El aparcamiento es gratuito. La ubicación del aparcamiento recomendado es muy cercana. Vernur colabora con muchos ayuntamientos en la regulación del tráfico de sus municipios, evitando colapsar algunas zonas, lo que provocaría “Turismofobia”, facilitando a la vez el acceso del visitante tanto al aparcamiento como a los centros históricos.		BELMONTE: In the locality there is little parking, it is not recommended to enter too far. There are space next the national road N-420 (also next the castle). Parking is free. The location of the recommended car park is very next. Vernur collaborates with many town councils in regulating traffic in their municipalities, avoiding the collapse of some areas, which would cause “Tourismphobia”, while facilitating visitor access to both parking and historic centres.


		BELMONTE: La zona donde se concentran los monumentos es el (Centro Histórico). Aquí podemos ver algunos monumentos: (casa Bellomonte, colegiata y hospital). Te recomendamos que sigas la ruta propuesta en el plano Vernur (líneas verde, naranja y azul). Aunque es interesante explorar tranquilamente la localidad. La distancia máxima en los extremos de esta visita es 900 meters. La visita se desarrolla por un espacio muy plano, con algunas cuestas. Fuera tenemos castillo y murallas. Vernur recomienda que no olvides llevar calzado cómodo y confortable, ropa acorde al clima, un buen sombrero y no olvides hidratarte. We recommend you to follow the proposed route at Vernur Map (green, orange and blue lines). Although it is interesting to explore the locality peacefully. The maximum distance at the ends of this visit are 900 m. The visit takes place through a space flat, with some slope. Outside we can see: (castle and walls). 		BELMONTE: En cuanto al firme tenemos (caminos de piedra y cemento). Pavimento recio y compacto. Respecto al desnivel es una zona plana, con algunas cuestas. Visita no factible para silla de ruedas. La tecnología de las sillas de ruedas ha avanzado mucho, cada vez más ligeras, hay modelos plegables, con todo tipo de adaptaciones, trata de conseguir una moderna, incluso hay ciudades donde se pueden alquilar, contacta con nosotros para añadir información. 		BELMONTE: Tiene un largo y atractivo ciclo festivo, destacaremos solo tres fiestas: La Fiesta de los Mayos (hacia el 30 de abril) con canticos populares por las calles del pueblo; la Fiesta de San Cristóbal (segundo fin de semana de julio), es una romería popular, con procesiones y competiciones y la Fiesta de Nuestra Señora de la Virgen de Gracia (segundo fin de semana de septiembre), que es la patrona de Belmonte y atrae a grandes multitudes. 		INFO HISTÓRICO-ARTÍSTICA Es castillo de planta pentagonal, uniéndose a las murallas, con torre de homenaje, portada gótica y 2 recintos. Cronología medieval del s XV, erigido por el marqués de Villena, fue muy restaurado en el s XVIII. Estilo gótico - mudéjar. Siendo Monumento Histórico-Artístico desde (1932). ENTRADAS Y HORARIOS La entrada general son 9€, el horario de verano (mayo-14 septiembre) es de martes a domingo de 10:00-14:00 y de 16:30-20:30; el horario (15 septiembre-28 febrero) es de martes a viernes de 10:00-14:00 y 15:30-17:30, sábados y domingos es de 10:00-14:00 y 15:30-18:30 y el horario de marzo a abril es de martes a domingo de 10:00-14:00 y de 16:00-19:00, el lunes es día de cierre. Como los elegantes torreones, sus almenas escalonadas, sus monumentales compuertas y su singular patio de armas. Dentro sobresalen las techumbres de estilo mudéjar, en salones y galerías, muy bonita es la Sala de Embajadores y el famoso “bestiario” esculpido en piedra. El Museo es precioso con colecciones exquisitas de armas y documentos.
