MOSTEIRO (MAIA)

INFORMACIÓN HISTORICO-ARTÍSTICA

El mosteiro de Leça do Balio (Maia) es un edificio de la segunda mitad del siglo XIV, fue construido por orden de fray Estevao Vasques Pimentel, en su fachada llama la atención el aspecto defensivo-militar con alta torre y almenas, el acceso es un arco de medio punto con arquivoltas y un gran rosetón.

Martes de 14:00 a 17:30, miércoles a domingo de 9:30 a 12:30 y de 14:00 a 17:30 (cerrado el tercer fin de semana de cada mes). Contacto 351.226.197.080.

The monastery of Leça do Balio (Maia) is a building from the seond half of the 14 th century, it was built by ordeer of fray Estevao Vasques Pimentel, in its façade the defnsive-military aspect with high tower and battlements stand out; access is a semiciruclar arch with archivolts and large rose window.

PUENTE DE PIEDRA (MAIA)

INFORMACIÓN HISTORICO-ARTÍSTICA

El Ponte de Pedra de Maia, es un puente de origen medieval, con algunas reformas puntuales, pero el estado de conservación es muy bueno y aceptable, es de sillería de granito, algo tosca, tiene un único arco rebajado de buenas dovelas.

The stone bridge of Maia, is a bridge of medieval origin, with some reforms, but the conservation state is very good and acceptable, it is made of granite ashlar masonry, something rough, it has a single segmental-low arch of good voussoirs.
