PÓVOA DE VARCIM: Se ubica en la antigua región de Douro Litoral, en el actual distrito de Porto. Es una localidad pesquera, que ha sabido adaptarse al turismo, prosperando gracias al ferrocarril. Hay restos megalíticos, siendo más interesantes los de la Edad del Hierro, que podemos ver en la Cividade do Terroso un castro galaico-portugués. También los romanos han dejado algún testimonio (Villa Euracini), en la Edad Media es una población conocida por la pesca. Entre los monumentos más interesantes podemos mencionar el fuerte de Conceição, la iglesia del Sagrado Corazón, el Casino, el Chafariz y la iglesia matriz. |
PÓVOA DE VARCIM: It is located in the old region of Douro Litoral in the current district of Porto. It is a fishing town, which has been able to adapt to tourism, prospering a lot thanks to the railway. There are megalithic remains, the most interesting date back to the Iron Age, which can see in the Cividade do Terroso, and a Galician-Portuguese fort. PÓVOA DE VARCIM: Póvoa de Varcim se ubica entre Viana do Conde y Oporto en la N-13. Desde el interior puedes acceder desde Guimarães (por la N-206 o por la A-7 de peaje manual). Es importante saber que Vila do Conde tiene servicio de metro (Linea B) que conecta directamente con Porto. |

PÓVOA DE VARCIM: En la localidad hay poco aparcamiento, no es recomendable adentrarse mucho. Hay un parking pequeño, muy cerca de Praça do Armada. El aparcamiento es de pago. Vernur colabora con muchos ayuntamientos en la regulación del tráfico de sus municipios, evitando colapsar algunas zonas, lo que provocaría “Turismofobia”, facilitando a la vez el acceso del visitante tanto al aparcamiento como a los centros históricos. |

Para usuarios de silla de ruedas el fuerte y el chafariz son de visita exterior; acceso factible al Sagrado Corazón y a la iglesia matriz (rampa de acceso y portón grande). La tecnología de las sillas de ruedas ha avanzado mucho, cada vez más ligeras, hay modelos plegables, con todo tipo de adaptaciones, trata de conseguir una moderna, incluso hay ciudades donde se pueden alquilar, contacta con nosotros para añadir información. |
