ACUEDUCTO (VILA DO CONDE)

El acueducto de Santa Clara, es una construcción de los siglos XVII y XVIII, es un acueducto de sillería y sillarejo, con arcos de medio punto, aunque tiene un itinerario de varios kilómetros la zona más monumental es la más próxima al monasterio de Santa Clara.

La iglesia de Santa Clara de Vila do Conde, se remonta al siglo XIV, de aquella época solo conserva la iglesia y el claustro gótico, pues se han realizado diversas reformas a lo largo del tiempo; por ejemplo en el siglo XVII se realizó el rosetón de estilo rococó y los coros de tallas excepcionales. El monasterio es un espacio más privado.

La iglesia de Sao Joao de Vila do Conde es un edificio del siglo XVI, de gran belleza es la fachada, el ábside y la pila bautismal que respiran la estética manuelina; mientras del siglo XVII es la torre de planta cuadrada de sillería; en el interior los retablos de talla dorada son del siglo XVIII.

La iglesia de Sao Francisco es una construcción de la primera mitad del siglo XVI, en su interior tenemos las sepulturas de 3 generaciones de Señores Caballeros, en la fachada destaca la recia torre de sillería y la fachada de acceso de arco mixtilíneo.
