PALACIO DE FREIXO (GONDOMAR)

INFORMACIÓN HISTORICO-ARTÍSTICA

El Palacio de Freixo de Oporto es un edificio construido en el siglo XVIII, por la Orden de Malta, es un edificio de estilo barroco, diseñado por el italiano Nicolau Nasoni; la construcción es de planta cuadrangular, tiene torreones en las esquinas con chapitel piramidal; las fachadas son diferentes y se adornan con motivos barrocos.

The Freixo Palace of Porto is a building built in the 18 th century, by the Order of Malta, it is a baroque building, designed by the Italian Nicolau Nasoni; the building is quadrangular, has toers at the corners with pyramidal spire; the facades are different and are decorated with baroque motifs.

El Museo de la Prensa (Museo da Imprensa) de Oporto, es un museo que recoge muestras de maquinas que permiten recomponer la historia del periodismo, hay exposiciones de caricaturistas, incluso el visitante puede hacer sus propias impresiones y noticias.

Entrada 2 €. Horario de lunes a viernes de 10:30 a 12:30, sábados y domingos de 15:00 a 20:00 horas.

The Museum of the Press (Museu da Imprensa) of Porto, is a museum that collects samples of machines that allow to recompose the history of journalism, there are exhibitions of cartoonists, and even the visitor can make their own impressions and news.

Admission €2. Timetable from Monday to Friday is (10:30-12:30), Saturdays and Sundays is (15:00-20:00)

Desde Oporto coger la N-108 que va a Gondomar, ambos monumentos se ubican junto al río Duero.

En la misma N-108 veras cartelería para el museo da Imprensa y el Palacio de Freixo esta a tan solo 200 metros.

From Porto take the N-108 that goes to Gondomar, both monuments are located next to the Douro River.

In the same N-108 you will see signpostes for the museum of Imprensa and the Freixo Palace is only 200 meters away.
