TORRE DE BELÉM – LISBOA

Es una torre de estilo manuelino, datada entre (1515) y (1519), ejecutada por Don Francisco de Arruda, es Patrimonio de la Humanidad. La torre tiene 5 pisos y fue torre de defensa de Lisboa.

Horario de verano (mayo-septiembre) de 10:00 a 18:30; el horario de invierno (octubre-abril) es de 10:00 a 17:00; entrada 6 €.

HISTORICAL-ARTISTIC INFORMATION

It's a tower of Manueline style, dated between (1515) and (1519), executed by the architect Francisco de Arruda, is World Heritage Site. The tower has 5 floors and served as a defense tower of Lisbon.

Summer time (May-September) from 10:00 am to 6:30 pm; the winter timetable (October-April) is from 10:00 am to 17:00 pm; entry €6.

		MONUMENTO DE DESCUBRIMIENTOS INFORMACIÓN HISTÓRICO-ARTÍSTICA Para conmemorar los 500 años del gran navegante portugués Enrique el Navegante (descubridor de Madeira, Azores y Cabo Verde), se levanto en (1960) este gran monumento; tiene 52 metros de altura desde lo alto puede verse el barrio de Belém y la rosa de los vientos diseñada por Cristino da Silva. ENTRADAS Y HORARIOS El horario de marzo a septiembre es todos los días de 10:00 a 19:00 y el horario de octubre a febrero es de martes a domingo de 10:00 a 18:00. Entrada general 4 euros.				MONUMENT OF THE DISCOVERIES HISTORICAL-ARTISTIC INFORMATION To commemorate the 500 years of the great Portuguese navigator Enrique o Navegador (discoverer of Madeira, Azores and Cape Verde), this great monument was erected in (1960), has 52 m height from the top you can see the neighborhood of Belem and the rose of the winds designed by Cristino da Silva. 		MOSTEIRO DOS JERÓNIMOS – LISBOA INFORMACIÓN HISTÓRICO-ARTÍSTICA Es Patrimonio de la Humanidad desde (1983), su construcción se centra en el siglo XVI, para conmemorar el regreso de Vasco de Gama desde la India; fue diseñado por Diogo de Boitaca, quién le dio un estilo manuelino al edificio; en la iglesia de los Jerónimos sobresalen 6 columnas de gran altura y las bóvedas estrelladas; el claustro es uno de los elementos más impresionantes. ENTRADAS Y HORARIOS Horario en verano (mayo-septiembre) de 10:00 a 18:30 y en invierno (octubre-abril) de 10:00 a 17:30; la entrada a la iglesia es gratis pero para el claustro hay que pagar 10 €. (La torre de Belém y Mosteiro de los Jerónimos 12€). 		ACCESO BELEM ACCESO La torre de Belém se sitúa a 6 Km. al oeste de Lisboa y cerca esta el Mosteiro de los Jerónimos y el monolito de los descubrimientos; todos los monumentos junto a la avenida Brasilia, ubicada junto al mar. Desde el centro de Lisboa puedes coger el autobús 728 o el tranvía E-15. ACCESO PARA MINUSVÁLIDOS Aunque no podréis subir a la torre de Belém (escalera de caracol), el monumento de los descubridores tiene ascensor y las vistas son muy bonitas; si es factible el acceso al Mosteiro dos Jerónimos.				ACCESS-BELEM ACCESS The tower of Belém is located 6 Km (3.72 mi) west of Lisbon and near stay the Jeronimos' Monastery and the monument of the Discoveries; all the monuments in Brasilia avenue zone, located next to the sea. From the center of Lisbon you can take the bus (728) or the tram (E-15). ACCESS FOR THE HANDICAPPED Although you will not be able to climb to the tower of Belém (spital staircase), the monument of the discoveries has an elevator and the views are very beautiful, if it is feasible to access the Monastery of Jeronimos.
