NECROPOLIS OF TÚTUGI (GALERA)
HISTORICAL-ARTISTIC INFORMATION
We have a site called Tútugi, with 1,500 m (4,920 ft) long in the East-West direction and 800 m (2,624 ft) in the North-South direction. Inside of Galera we must mention the Iberian necropolis of Tútugi, with several types of burials. The necropolis dates back to the 4th - 3rd centuries BC (apogee); but there is evidence from the 6th century. The necropolis is located at the confluence of the Orce and Barbatas rivers. Cabre excavate around 130 tombs (today more than 400 tombs are known), they are of square plan. Chronology of the Late Bronze Age and the Iron Age, from the 7th to 3rd centuries BC.

Summer timetable (May-September) from Wednesday to Friday from 10 to 8, Saturdays and Sundays from 11 to 7; the winter time (October-March) is from Wednesday to Friday from 11 o 4, Saturdays and Sundays from 11 to 12 and from 4 to 5. Ticket €2.
LOCATION
From Granada take the N-92N, towards Murcia and at the village of Cullar take the A-330 road that goes to Galera. The site is just at the entrance of the village.

For wheelchair users the visit is feasible with companion or assistant.
