PLUS ULTRA (PALOS DE LA FRONTERA)

El Monumento del Plus Ultra, es un monumento que conmemora el histórico vuelo realizado entre España y Buenos Aires por el hidroavión Plus Ultra. Representa el vuelo de Ícaro una escultura de bronce que se ubica sobre un pedestal.

MUELLE CARABELAS (PALOS DE LA FRONTERA)

En el muelle de las Carabelas de Huelva se pueden visitar las réplicas de las naves que descubrieron América: La Pinta, la Niña y la Santa María, creadas con motivo del V Centenario del Descubrimiento de América, es el tercer lugar más visitado de Andalucía.

VISITA : Horario de verano (16 de junio a 15 de septiembre) de martes a domingo 10:00-21:00. Horario de invierno (16 de septiembre al 15 de junio) de martes a domingo de 9:30 a 19:30. Lunes siempre cerrado. Entrada 3,60€.

DOCK OF LAS CARABELAS (PALOS DE LA FRONTERA)

In the dock of Las Carabelas of Huelva you can visit the replica of the ships that discovered America: La Pinta, La Niña and Santa Maria, created to mark the 5 th Centennial of the Discovery of America, is the 3 rd most visited place in Andalusia.

VISIT : Summer timetable (Jun 16 to September 15) from Tuesday to Sunday 10:00-21:00. Winter timetable (September 16 to June 15) Tuesday to Sunday from 9:30 to 19:30. Monday always closed. Entry € 3.30.

RABIDA (PALOS DE LA FRONTERA)

El Monasterio de Santa María de la Rábida de Huelva, es un convento franciscano que fue de excepcional importancia para facilitar el descubrimiento de América. En el interior sobresale el claustro mudéjar y los frescos que conmemoran el Descubrimiento.

VISITA : Horario de verano (abril-octubre) de martes a sábado de 10:00-13:00 y 16:00-19:00 y domingo de 10:45-13:00 y 16:00-19:00. Horario de invierno (noviembre-marzo) de martes a sábado de 10:00-13:00 y 16:00-18:15 y domingo de 10:45-13:00 y 16:00-19:00 (Horarios muy cambiantes, consultar web oficial). Tarifa 3,50€.

RABIDA (PALOS DE LA FRONTERA)

The Monastery of Santa Maria de la Rabida of Huelva, is a Franciscan convent that was of exceptional importance to facilitate the discovery of America. Inside the Mudejar cloister and the frescoes that commemorate the Discovery stand out.

VISIT : Summer timetable (April-October) from Tuesday to Saturday from 10:00 to 13:00 and 16:00-19:00 and Sunday from 10:45-13:00 and 16:00-19:00. Winter timetable (November-March) from Tuesday to Saturday from 10:00-13:00 and 16:00-18:15 and Sunday from 10:45-13:00 and 16:00-19:00 (changing timetables, check the official website). TORRE ARENILLAS (PALOS DE LA FRONTERA)

La Torre de Arenillas de Huelva, es una construcción defensiva del siglo XVI, quizás erigida en tiempos de Felipe II, es de planta circular, la parte inferior es maciza, con acceso elevado, se empleaba para vigilar el horizonte y avisar de ataques de piratas.

TOWER ARENILLAS (PALOS DE LA FRONTERA)

The tower of Arenillas of Huelva, is a defensive building of the 16th century, perhaps erected in time of Felipe II, is circular, the lower part is massive, with elevated access, was used to monitor the horizon and warn of pirate attacks.
