Monzón-Binefar: Monumentos y turismo


		MONZÓN: Es la capital de la comarca del Cinca Medio, el casco histórico esta en la ladera de un cerro, coronado por un castillo medieval, cerca de la localidad pasa el río Cinca. El pueblo tiene monumentos bonitos como la catedral, el castillo, varias iglesias, el puente viejo y la casa consistorial. Esta tranquila y bonita localidad tiene rincones preciosos que esperan a que los descubras. BINEFAR: Es un pueblo que pertenece a la comarca de La Litera, con un pequeño patrimonio monumental con la iglesia de San Pedro, varias ermitas y casonas. 		MONZÓN- BINÉFAR: Monzón y Binéfar se ubican en el valle del Cinca, entre Barbastro y Lleida, se accede muy bien por la A-22 (Huesca-Lleida). Para Monzón por la salida 40 o 44 y para Binéfar por la salida 33 o 34. Tamarite está cerca de Binefar. Si no quieres pagar debes de dejar el coche a la entrada. TAMARITE: En la localidad hay poco aparcamiento. En temporada media o baja puedes aparcar en Paseo del Hortaz. Vernur recomienda que no olvides llevar calzado cómodo y confortable, ropa acorde al clima, un buen sombrero y no olvides hidratarte. 		MONZÓN: En cuanto al firme tenemos (caminos de piedra y cemento). Pavimento recio y compacto. Respecto al desnivel es una zona plana con cuestas. No hay bordillos en las aceras (solo zona centro). El castillo no es apto para sillas de ruedas. Con silla de ruedas acceso no factible a la iglesia de Santa María de Monzón (escaleras). BINÉFAR: En cuanto al firme tenemos (caminos de cemento). Pavimento recio y compacto. Respecto al desnivel es una zona plana. No hay bordillos en las aceras (solo zona iglesia). Con silla de ruedas si es factible a la iglesia de San Pedro de Binéfar. TAMARITE: El pueblo tiene algunas cuestas. Con silla de ruedas acceso no factible a la iglesia de Santa María de Tamarite (escalera).		MONZÓN: As for the firm we have (stone and cement roads). The firm is strong and compact. Regarding the Unevenness, it is a flat area. There aren't curbs on the sidewalks (only in the church area). With wheelchair it is feasible access to the church of S. Pedro. TAMARITE: The town has some slopes. Wheelchair access not feasible to the church of Santa María de Tamarite (staircase).


		MONZÓN: Junto al río Cinca y a la N-240 tenemos el Área Recreativa de los Sotos del Cinca, en un bonito bosque hay columpios para niños y un merendero; está perfectamente indicado con un cartel marrón. La Oficina de Turismo de *Monzón* se localiza en calle San José de Calasanz, 2; teléfono (974.417.774). No nos cansamos de recordar que uses calzado cómodo, ropa adaptada al clima, un buen sombrero y una mochila ligera de peso, con agua para hidratarte. 		INFO HISTORICO-ARTÍSTICA El castillo de los templarios de Monzón; con altos muros y enfoscado. Es formidable la torre de homenaje. Del s. XII data gran parte de lo que vemos las murallas, torres, caballerizas, refectorio y celdas-dormitorios. Es de origen árabe del s. X, pero en el s. XI paso a manos cristianas; en el s. 		Podemos admirar un conjunto interesante de casas iberas, una cisterna para almacenar agua, además aquí se encontró la famosa estela de Vispesa (Museo Provincial de Huesca), etc… La cronología de la Vispesa es ibero-romana, de mediados del siglo III a.C. El acceso se realiza por la N-240 (Huesca-Lleida), en Binefar coger la carretera A-140 a Tamarite de Litera, y a medio camino coger el desvío de Algayon.
