CASTILLO DE LA IRUELA (CAZORLA)

INFORMACIÓN HISTORICO-ARTÍSTICA

Tenemos un castillo que en origen fue refugio de caballeros templarios; dispone de 3 murallas; a los pies se ubica la Iglesia de Santo Domingo de Silos. Datación en el Bajomedievo, siglo XIV. La Iglesia de Santo Domingo de Silos se inicia en el siglo XIII, pero casi todo lo que vemos es del siglo XVI.

HORARIOS-ENTRADA

En verano de 9:00-14:00 y de 17:00-22:00 y en invierno es de 9:00-14:00 y de 16:00-18:00, abre todos los días, la entrada cuesta 1 €.

We have a castle that in the past was a haven for Knights Templar; has 3 walls, at the foot stay the church of Santo Domingo de Silos. Late Medieval chronology of the 14th century. The church of Santo Domingo de Silos is dated in the 13th century, but almost everything we see is from 16th century.

TICKETS AND TIMETABLE

In summer from 9 to 2 and from 5 to 10 and in winter is from 9 to 2 and from 4 to 6; open every day; the rate cost € 1.

NECRÓPOLIS DE TOYA (PEAL DE BECERRO)

INFORMACIÓN HISTORICO-ARTÍSTICA

Tenemos una tumba de cámara cuadrada dividida en 6 espacios, 3 cámaras principales con 3 vestíbulos, con bancos corridos y nichos. Cronología ibérica, del siglo IV a.C.

HORARIOS-ENTRADA

Recomendamos visitar primero el Centro de Interpretación en la calle Josefa Santamaría 4 (Peal de Becerro), el horario es viernes de 17:00-20:00 (visita a Toya a las 18:00), sábado de 11:00-14:00 y 17:00-20:00 (visita a Toya a las 12:00 y a las 18:00) domingo de 11:00-14:00 (visita a Toya a las 12:00); la visita guiada (Centro de Interpretación y Tumba de Toya) son 3,50€, hay entradas reducidas.

HISTORICAL-ARTISTIC INFORMATION

We have a square chamber tomb into 6 spaces, 3 main chambers with 3 lobbies, in which we can see benches and niches. Iberian chronology, 4th century BC.

TICKETS AND TIMETABLE

We recommend to visit the Interpretation Center in 4 Josefa Santamaría street (Peal de Becerro), the timetable is Friday from 5 pm to 8 pm (visit to Toya at 6 pm), Saturday from 11 am to 2 pm and 5 pm – 8 pm (visit to Toya at 12 am and 6 pm); Sunday from 11 am to 2 pm (visit to Toya at 12 am); the guided tour (Interpretation Center and Tomb of Toya) are € 3,50; there are reduced tickets.

ACCEDER A CAZORLA

UBICACIÓN

IRUELA: Desde Bailen coger la N-322 a Úbeda y en Torreperogil coger la A-315 y la A-319 que van a Cazorla.

PEAL DE BECERRO: Desde la N-322 desde Bailen coger la dirección a Úbeda y en Torreperogil coger la A-315 a Peal de Becerro y de allí el camino a Toya. Acceso a 5 Km. de Peal de Becerro. Hay que pedir las llaves en el Ayuntamiento.

ACCESO PARA MINUSVÁLIDOS

IRUELA: No accesible para usuarios de sillas de ruedas.

PEAL DE BECERRO: Acceso por una rampa, pero la entrada es estrecha, con un peldaño Tlf: 672.345.655.

ACCESS TO CAZORLA

LOCATION

IRUELA: From Bailen take the N-232 to Úbeda and in Torreperogil take the A-315 and A-319 to Cazorla.

PEAL DE BECERRO: From N-322, from Bailen take the direction to Úbeda and in Torreperogil take the A-315 to Peal de Becerro and from there the road to Toya. Access 5 km. (3,1 mi) from Peal de Becerro, you must to pay the keys in the town hall.

ACCESS FOR THE HANDICAPPED

IRUELA: Not suitable for wheelchair users.
