PUENTE MEDIEVAL DEL PASO HONROSO (HOSPITAL DE ÓRBIGO)

INFORMACIÓN HISTÓRICO-ARTÍSTICA

Ubicado en el Camino de Santiago por el pasan los peregrinos, el puente se erigió en el s. XIII, tiene de 19 arcos. Se sabe que en tiempos de Juan II (siglo XV) se produjo en el puente un torneo o justa entre caballeros medievales de toda la península.

ENTRADAS Y HORARIOS

No hay que pagar entradas, el acceso es libre, sin horarios.

La ciudad de Astorga alberga edificios de gran interés: Una muralla, una magnífica catedral y el Palacio Arzobispal. La muralla tiene varias fases: Tiene una edificación del siglo I, derribada para reconstruirse en el siglo III-IV, con una elevación posterior en el Medievo.

La catedral se visita de 9:00 a 10:30 (lunes-sábado) y los festivos de 11:00 a 13:00, el acceso es libre. Si quieres ver el museo de la catedral la entrada vale 3 €

PALACIO ARZOBISPAL DE GAUDI

El bellísimo palacio arzobispal de Astorga, es obra del arquitecto catalán Antoni Gaudí, es de estilo neogótico con bonitas vidrieras, columnas y arcos ojivales, alberga hoy en día el Museo de los Caminos.

ENTRADAS Y HORARIOS

Horario de verano (Mayo-septiembre) es de martes a sábado de 10:00-14:00 y 16:00-20:00, el domingo solo abre por la mañana y el horario de invierno es de martes a sábado de 11:00-14:00 y 16:00-18:00, el domingo solo abre por la mañana, Entrada 3€.

HOSPITAL DE ORBIGO: A hospital de Órbigo se accede o por Astorga o por León por la AP-71 o la N-120.

ASTORGA: El acceso a Astorga es sencillo pues Astorga se ubica en la misma N-VI y desde León se puede acceder por la AP-71 o por la N-120.

ACCESO PARA MINUSVÁLIDOS

HOSPITAL DE ORBIGO: El acceso al puente es factible para sillas de ruedas.

ASTORGA: La muralla y el Palacio Episcopal solo el exterior, mientras la catedral si es accesible a sillas de ruedas.
