FABRICA DE SARGADELLOS

INFORMACIÓN HISTÓRICO-ARTÍSTICA

La fábrica fue fundada a inicios del siglo XIX por Antonio Raimundo Ibáñez y cerró en (1875). Podrás visitar un bonito museo y en el exterior pueden admirarse los antiguos hornos de fundición en un claro ejemplo de arqueología industrial, así como, las viviendas de los obreros del siglo XVIII y XIX, presas, canales y otras instalaciones fabriles. La visita guiada a la fábrica actual es muy recomendable, son muchos los escolares que la visitan.

ENTRADAS Y HORARIOS

La visita a la fábrica antigua es gratuita, las estructuras se ubican al aire libre. Existe un bonito merendero y aparcamiento.

FACTORY OF SARGADELLOS

HISTORICAL-ARTISTIC INFORMATION

The factory was founded at the beginning of the 19 th century by Antonio Raimundo Ibañez and closed in (1875). You will be able to visit a beautiful museum and outside you can admire the old foundry furnaces in a clear example of Industrial archaeology, as well as, the houses of the workers of the 18 th and 19 th centuries, dams, channels and other factory facilities. The visit to the old factory is free, the structures are located outdoors. There is a nice picnic area and parking.

UBICACIÓN -MARIÑA

SARGADELLOS: Se encuentra en el municipio lucense de Cervo, a pocos kilómetros de la población de Burela en la costa cantábrica. En la N-642 es mejor que cojas el desvío que pone Sargadelos pues te lleva directo a la entrada de la fábrica y te evitas cruzar el pueblo de Cervo.

SARGADELLOS: La visita al Museo y a buena parte de las instalaciones es factible en silla de ruedas.

SARGADELLOS: It is located in the Lugo municipality of Cervo, a few kilometers from the town of Burela on the Cantabrian coast. On the N-642 it is better that you take the way to Sargadellos, because go to the entrance of the factory directly and avoid crossing the town of Cervo

PUERTA DE CARLOS V (VIVERO)

INFORMACIÓN HISTORICO-ARTÍSTICA

La puerta de Carlos V de Viveiro data del siglo XVI y es un homenaje al rey Carlos I, es de estilo renacentista, es una construcción de sillería, con escudos heráldicos (Galicia, Viveiro y Carlos I), garitones y almenas; hay que subrayar que sustituye a una antigua puerta del siglo XIII que estaba muy deteriorada . Además en Viveiro tenemos la Iglesia de Santiago, el puente medieval y restos de muralla.

GATE OF CARLOS V (VIVEIRO)

HISTORICAL-ARTISTIC INFORMATION

The gate of Carlos V of Viveiro dates from the 16 th century and is a tribute to King Carlos I, it is of Renaissance style, it is a building of ashlar masonry, with heraldic shields (Galicia, Viveiro and Carlos I), watchtowers and battlements; it is necessary to emphasize that it replaces an old door of the 13 th century that was very deteriorated. Also in Viveiro we have the church of Santiago, the medieval bridge and remains of the wall.

TORRE DEL MARISCAL (ALFOZ)

INFORMACIÓN HISTORICO-ARTÍSTICA

La torre del mariscal Pardo de Cela, de Alfoz, es una torre medieval del siglo XV, que consta de al menos 4 plantas, la superior almenada, con bonitos arcos geminados; el acceso se realiza por una pequeña escalera y una puerta con arco de medio punto.

Horario los sábados y domingos de 11:00-14:00 y de 16:00 a 19:00.

TOWER OF MARISCAL (ALFOZ)

HISTORICAL-ARTISTIC INFORMATION

The tower of marshal Pardo de Cela, of Alfoz, is a medieval tower from 15 th century that has at least 4 floors, the upper has battlements, with beautiful double archs; access is through a small staircase and a door with a semicircular arch.

Timetable on Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00-14:00 and from 16:00 to 19:00.

IGLESIA DE CARBALLIDO (ALFOZ)

INFORMACIÓN HISTORICO-ARTÍSTICA

La iglesia de Carvallido de Alfoz, es un edificio del siglo XVIII, con una sola nave, crucero y dos sacristías, dispone de techumbre de artesonado de madera, mientras en el altar mayor se cubrió con bóveda de arista; el retablo es neoclásico, muy interesantes son las pinturas.

CHURCH OF CARBALLIDO (ALFOZ)

HISTORICAL-ARTISTIC INFORMATION

The church of Carvallido of Alfoz, is a building of the 18 th century, with a single nave, transept and 2 sacristies, it has a wooden coffered ceiling, while on the main altar it was covered with an arched vault; the altarpiece is neoclassical, very interesting are the paintings.

UBICACIÓN DE ENCLAVES:

Viveiro se ubica en la costa, mientras O Valadouro y Alfoz se ubican en el interior, desde la N-642 hay varios caminos señalizados a Alfoz y a O Valadouro (Valle de Oro).

Viveiro is located on the coast, while O Valadouro and Alfoz are located inside, from N-642 there are several signposted roads to Alfoz and O Valadouro (Gold Valley).


		Acceso factible a la Puerta de Carlos V; y a la iglesia de Carballido; pero no es posible a la torre del mariscal Pardo de Cela.		Feasible access to Gate of Carlos V and to the church of Carballido; but is not possible to the tower of Marshal Pardo de Cela.
