Ponte da Barca: Monumentos y turismo


		PONTE DA BARCA: Se ubica en la antigua región de Minho, pertenece al distrito de Viana do Castelo. Es una localidad que se ubica junto al río Limia. Entre sus monumentos podemos citar el Puente medieval, que da nombre a la localidad, la iglesia matriz de estilo barroco, que es el prototipo de iglesia rural que veremos en la zona; también hay algunos palacetes y mansiones de buena sillería. La población es ideal para senderistas, en especial el rio Limia con los sauces llorones y el famoso Jardín dos Poetas. En el pueblo hay rutas de senderismo muy interesantes y atractivas. Algunas están señalizadas (carteles y balizas).		PONTE DA BARCA: Located in the old region of Minho, it belongs to the district of Viana do Castelo. The locality is ideal for walkers, especially the Limia River with weeping willows and the famous Garden dos Poetas. In the village there are Hiking routes very interesting and amazing. 		PONTE DA BARCA: En la localidad hay poco aparcamiento, no es recomendable adentrarse mucho. Hay un parking amplio junto al puente del rio Limia. El aparcamiento es gratuito. Vernur colabora con muchos ayuntamientos en la regulación del tráfico de sus municipios, evitando colapsar algunas zonas, lo que provocaría “Turismofobia”, facilitando a la vez el acceso del visitante tanto al aparcamiento como a los centros históricos. 		PONTE DA BARCA: La zona donde se concentran los monumentos es el Centro Histórico. Aquí podemos ver monumentos como el bonito Puente Medieval, la iglesia de la Misericordia y la iglesia parroquial. La distancia en los extremos de esta visita es 400-500 m. La visita se desarrolla por un espacio plano (con alguna ligera cuesta). Es una visita para descubrir tranquilamente los rincones de este bonito pueblo. 		PONTE DA BARCA: En cuanto al firme tenemos (caminos de piedra). Pavimento recio y compacto. Respecto al desnivel es una zona plana (con alguna cuesta). Hay bordillos en las aceras. Todas las iglesias tienen escalones. La Festa de Sao Bartomeu (19-24 de agosto) es un acontecimiento muy importante, gracias a los fuegos artificiales, danzas populares y desfiles. 		INFO HISTORICO-ARTÍSTICA El Puente de Ponte de Barca, es realmente un puente de la Edad Moderna, pues se data en el siglo XVI, con reformas y reparaciones del siglo XVIII y XIX. La Iglesia de la Misericordia de Ponte da Barca, tiene cimientos del siglo XVI, pero el edificio fue fuertemente reformado en el siglo XIX.

Hay una mezcla de estilos muy evidente con elementos barrocos, rococós y neoclásicos. Dentro sobresalen los azulejos y el altar mayor.

The church of la Misericordia of Ponte da Barca, has foundations from 16 th century, but the building was heavily reformed in the 19 th century.

São João es una iglesia de estilo barroco (con elementos manieristas). El interior es muy interesante con sus azulejos, altar mayor y bóveda de crucería.
