Ponte de Lima tiene puente medieval, que en origen fue romano (los expertos consideran que cinco arcos podrían ser aun romanos), mide 380 metros y salvo esos 5 arcos el resto es un puente medieval del s. XIV.

BRIDGE (PONTE DA LIMA)

Ponte de Lima has a Medieval bridge, which was a Roman bridge (scholars believe that 5 arches could still be Roman), measures 380 m (1246 ft) and except for those 5 arches the rest is a Medieval bridge, built in the 14th c.

IGLESIA DA MIERICÓRDIA (PONTE DA LIMA)

La iglesia da Miericórdia (Misericordia) es una iglesia que se data en los siglos XVI y XVIII, en el interior conviene visitar la sacristía decorada con paneles de azulejos y deleitarse en el presbiterio con la bóveda de casetones y las pinturas del altar.

CHURCH OF MIERICÓRDIA (PONTE DA LIMA)

The church of Miericordia (mercy), is a church dating from the 16th and 18th centuries, inside is good idea visit the sacristy decorated with panels of tile and enjoy in the presbitery with the beautiful vault of coffins and the paintings of the altar.

MURALLAS (PONTE DA LIMA)

En el casco histórico de Ponte de Lima pueden verse algunas torres y tramos de muralla, que evidencian el pasado guerrero, de la época medieval. Las torres cuadradas se reforzaron con almenas puntiagudas.

In the historic center of Ponte de Lima can be seen some towers and sections of the wall, which evidence the warrior past of the Medieval time. The square towers in plan, were reinforced with pointes battlements.

IGLESIA DE SÃO ANTONIO (PONTE DA LIMA)

La iglesia de São Antonio da Torre Velha, es de estilo barroco y rococó, la bonita torre se corona con un chapitel bulboso; mientras la fachada se decora con el tradicional frontón curvilíneo y partido del rococó, con pináculos a modo de jarrón, un gran rosetón y multitud de azulejos azules y blancos.

CHURCH OF SÃO ANTONIO (PONTE DA LIMA)

The church of São Antonio da Torre Velha is a Baroque and Rococó style, the beautiful tower is crowned with a bulbous spire; while the façade is decorated with the traditional curvilinear pediment and split from Rococó, with pinnacles as a vase, a big rose window and a multitude of blue and while tiles.

		CAPELA DO ANJO DA GUARDA INFORMACIÓN HISTÓRICO-ARTÍSTICA La Capela do Anjo da Guarda es una estructura de estilo gótico que se data en el siglo XIII; también es conocida como Padrão de São Miguel, quizás se construyó con elementos de un antiguo templo románico del siglo XIII, posiblemente dañada por una inundación y reconstruido en el siglo XVIII. CHAPEL OF THE GUARDIAN ANGEL HISTORICAL-ARTISTIC INFORMATION The chapel of the Guardian Angel is a building of Gothic style, that dates back to the 13 th century, is also known as the Padr ã o de São Miguel, perhaps built with elements of an ancient Romanesque temple dating from the 13 th century, possibly damaged by a flood and rebuilt in the 18 th century. 		ACCESO A PONTE DE LIMA UBICACIÓN Ponte de Lima se ubica entre Braga y Valença do Minho en el norte de Portugal, a unos 40 Km. de la frontera española. La iglesia de São Antonio y la capela do Anjo da Guarda se ubican en el margen opuesto a la localidad, al otro lado del puente. La iglesia da Miericórdia se ubica en la rua do Postigo; los mejores tramos de la muralla pueden verse junto al río.				ACCESS TO PONTE DE LIMA LOCATION Ponte de Lima is located between Braga and Valença do Minho in the north of Portugal, around 40 Km (131 ft) from the Spanish border. The church of São Antonio and the chapel of the Guardian Angel are located in the opposite margin to the locality, in the other site of the bridge. The church of Miericórdia is located in the street of the Postigo, the best sections of the wall can be seen near the river.

		ACCESO PARA MINUSVÁLIDOS El acceso al puente para sillas de ruedas no plantea problemas, se trata de una construcción peatonal. La iglesia de la Miericórdia y las murallas medievales disponen de escaleras de acceso que impiden el acceso para sillas de ruedas. El acceso a la iglesia de São Antonio da Torre Velha si es posible para sillas de ruedas.				ACCESS FOR THE HANDICAPPED Access to bridge for wheelchairs doesn't suppose problems, it is a pedestrian building. The church of the Miericórdia and the Medieval walls have access stairs that prevent access for wheelchairs. The access to the church of São Antonio da Torre Velha is possible for wheelchairs.
