La iglesia de San Sebastián de Ricote es una construcción de estilo barroco, que se data a inicios del siglo XVIII, fue costeada por la Orden de Santiago; en el interior dispone de 3 naves, crucero, donde se sitúa la cúpula; en el exterior destaca la fachada barroca con arco de medio punto, hornacina para el santo y frontón triangular.

The church of San Sebastián de Ricote is a building of Baroque style, dating to the early 18 th century, was founded by the Order of Santiago; inside it has 3 naves, transept, where the dome is located; outside we stand out the baroque façade with round arc, niche for the saint and triangular pediment

INFORMACIÓN HISTORICO-ARTÍSTICA

No podemos olvidar La Casa de la Encomienda de los siglos XV-XVI. Muy bonito es el Palacio de Llamas (hoy Centro Cultural) del siglo XVIII. Ricote también dispone de un castillo medieval conocido como “La Alhardona”, un castillo árabe datado en el siglo IX.

We can't forget the House of La Encomienda of 15-16 th centuries. Very beautiful is the Palace of Llamas (today Cultural Center) of the 18 th century. Ricote also has a medieval castle known as “La Alhardona”, an Arag castle dating back to the 9 th century.

La iglesia de San Juan Bautista de Archena se remonta al siglo XVI, siendo fuertemente restaurada y ampliada en el siglo XVIII; en el exterior destaca la torre-campanario cuadrada muy sobria y la fachada con acceso adintelado.

The church of San Juan Bautista of Archena dates back to the 16 th century, being strongly restored and enlarged in the 18 th century; outside we stand out the square bell tower very sober and the façade with lintel access.

UBICACIÓN DE ENCLAVES:

Puedes acceder por la N-301 o la A-30. Para Archena (salida 121), para Ricote puedes elegir entre las salidas 110-112 y la 115-116.

ACCESO PARA MINUSVALIDOS:

Con silla de ruedas el acceso no es factible a la iglesia de San Sebastián de Ricote (escalones) y tampoco a los palacios ; pero si es factible a la iglesia de San Juan de Archena.

You can access by the N-301 or the A-30. For Archena (exit 121), for Ricote you can choose between exits 110-112 and 115-116.

ACCESS FOR HANDICAPPED

With Wheelchair access is not feasible to the church of San Sebastián de Ricote (steps) and isn't accesible to the palaces, but it is feasible to the church of San Juan of Archena.
