IGLESIA DE LA ASUNCIÓN (YECLA)

La iglesia de La Asunción de Yecla es una construcción del siglo XVI, mezclando elementos góticos con otros renacentistas; en el exterior destaca la torre por las cabezas que decoran el friso superior; en el interior destaca una única nave, con cabecera poligonal, con bóvedas de crucería.

Horario los sábados de 10:00-20:00 y los domingos de 11:00-13:00.

The church of La Asunción de Yecla is a building of the 16 th centuryhas Gothic elements and other Renaissance; outside we stand out the tower for the heads that decorate the upper frieze; inside we stand out a single nave, with polygonal head with ribbed vaults.

La iglesia de Santiago de Jumilla, se data en el siglo XV-XVI, con elementos de los siglos XVIII y XIX; en el exterior destaca la portada meridional de estilo renacentista con arco de medio punto y columnas, junto con otra portada neoclásica; dentro destacan las bóvedas de crucería, el claustro manierista y el curioso altar mayor trilobulado.

The church of Santiago de Jumilla is dated in 15-16 th century, with elements of the 18 th and 19 th centuries; outside we stand out the south façade of Renaissance style with round arch ans columns, along with another neoclassical façade; inside we stand out the ribbed vaults, the cloister of Mannerist style and the curious main altar of 3 lobes.

El castillo medieval de Jumilla es una fortaleza medieval construida entre los siglos XII y XV; entre sus estructuras podemos destacar la torre de homenaje de estilo gótico; los aljibes árabes del siglo XIII, el patio de armas y distintas dependencias.

HORARIOS- ENTRADA

Los horarios de mayo a agosto son los sábados (10:00-14:00 y 19:00-21:00) y los domingos (10:00-14:00). En marzo abril, y septiembre los sábados (10:00-14:00 y 17:00-19:00) y los domingos (10:00-14:00). En enero, febrero, octubre, noviembre y diciembre, sábados y domingos es (10:00-14:00).

CASTLE (YECLA)

The medieval castle of Jumilla is a medieval fortress built between the 12 th and 15 th centuries; among its structures we can hignlight the Gothic style keep; the Arab cisterns of the 13 th century, courtyard and different dependencies.

TICKETS AND TIMETABLE

The timetable from May to August are on Saturdays (10:00-14:00 and 19:00-21:00) and on Sundays (10:00-14:00). In March, April and September on Saturdays (10:00-14:00 and 17:00-19:00) and on Sundays (10:00-14:00). In January, February, October, November and December, on Saturays and Sundays is (10:00-14:00).

ERMITA DE SAN ROQUE (JUMILLA)

INFORMACIÓN HISTORICO-ARTÍSTICA

La ermita-arco de San Roque de Jumilla, es un edificio de estilo barroco, fuertemente restaurado. El arco es un arco rebajado, en la parte posterior puede verse un balcón y una ventana, en la parte interior puede verse una campana.

The ermitage-arch of San Roque de Jumilla is a buiding of Baroque style, strongly restored. The arch is a segmental arch, on the back you can see a balcony and a window, on the inside you can see a bell

ACCESO POR CARRETERA

(JUMILLA-YECLA)

UBICACIÓN DE ENCLAVES:

Desde la A-30 y la A-31 puede accederse a Yecla y Jumilla; en la A-30 puedes coger la salida 75 “Cancarix y Jumilla”; en la A-31; mientras en la A-31 puedes coger la 171B “Caudete y Yecla”.

ACCESO PARA MINUSVALIDOS:

Con silla de ruedas no es factible a la iglesia de Santiago de Jumilla ( escaleras ), tampoco al castillo de Jumilla (escaleras); la visita al arco-ermita de San Roque (Jumilla) es exterior. El acceso es factible por un lateral a la iglesia de La Asunción de Yecla.

LOCATION

Fron the A-30 and the A-31 you can access to Yecla and Jumilla; on the A-30 you can take the exit 75 “Cancarix and Jumilla”; while on the the A-31, you can take the exit 171B “Caudete and Yecla”.

ACCESS FOR HANDICAPPED

With Wheelchair access is not feasible to the church of Santiago de Jumilla (stairs), or to the castle of Jumilla (stairs); the visit to the hermitage-arch of San Roque (Jumilla) is outside. Access is feasible by a side in the church of La Asunción of Yecla.
