POBLADO DE SIYASA (CIEZA)

INFORMACIÓN HISTÓRICO-ARTÍSTICA

Sabemos que la ciudad tuvo 2 murallas, pero las excavaciones se han concentrado en las viviendas, descubriéndose la estructura de las mismas y el mobiliario. La cronología es andalusí, desde el siglo XI, al XII y al XIII.

ENTRADAS Y HORARIOS

Para el Museo de Siyasa el horario de verano (15 de junio – 22 de agosto) es de martes a sábado de 9:00-14:00, lunes, domingos y festivos es de 09:00-14:00, lunes cerrado y el horario de invierno (23 de agosto al 14 de junio) es de 11:00-13:30 y 17:30-21:00, domingos y festivos es de 10:30-14:00, lunes cerrado; tarifa general 2,10€. Hay tarifas reducidas. El yacimiento es de acceso libre.

For the Siyassa Museum the summer timetable (June 15 th – August 22th) is from Tuesday to Saturday from 9 am to 2 pm, Mondays, Sundays and public holidays is from 9 pm to 2 pm; closed Monday and the winter timetable (August 23th to June 14 th ) is from 11 am to 1,30 pm and 5,30 pm to 9 pm; Sundays and holidays are from 10,30 pm to 2 pm, closed Monday. General rate 2,10 €, there are reduced rates. The site has open access.
 
 

NORIA DE DON GARCÍA (ABARAN)

INFORMACIÓN HISTORICO-ARTÍSTICA

La Noria de la Hoya de Don García es una interesante obra de ingeniería hidráulica que se data en (1818); aunque fue restaurada en el siglo XX, tiene un diámetro de 8,20 m.; esta construida en madera pero el eje es de hierro; toma el agua de la acequia principal.

WATER WHEEL OF SON GARCÍA (ABARAN)

HISTORICAL-ARTISTIC INFORMATION

The water wheel of La Hoya de Don García is an interesting work of hydraulic engineering dating from (1818); although it was restored in the 20 th century, it has a diameter of 8.20 m (26,9 ft); it is a built in wood but the axis is made of iron; It take the water from the main drain.

NORIA GRANDE (ABARAN)

INFORMACIÓN HISTORICO-ARTÍSTICA

La Noria Grande de Abarán data del (1805) y posiblemente sea la mayor de Europa, tiene 11,92 m. de diámetro, también fue reconstruida a mediados del siglo XX y es de madera y hierro. Abarán posee otras 2 norias más (Noria de Candelón y noria de la Ñorica), lo que permite hacernos una idea de la importancia de estas estructuras en esta región acostumbrada a duras sequías.

The water wheel Grande de Abarán dates from (1805) and possibly is the largest in Europe, has 11,92 m (39.09 ft) in diameter, it was also rebuilt in the mid-20 th century and is made of wood and iron. Abarán has 2 other water wheels (Noria de Candelón and Noria de la Ñorica), which allows us to get an idea of the importance of these structures in this area accustomed to harsh droughts.

ACCESO A CIEZA-ABARÁN

UBICACIÓN

Abarán y Cieza se encuentran junto a la A-30. Para Cieza (salida 99-100), para Abarán (salida 107).

CIEZA: El yacimiento se ubica en el Monte del Castillo de Cieza.

ACCESO PARA MINUSVÁLIDOS

CIEZA: No es factible la visita con silla de ruedas.

ABARÁN: En las dos norias la visita es exterior, se puede acceder con coche al pie del monumento en las dos norias

LOCATION

Abarán and Cieza are located next to the A-30. For Cieza (exit 99-100), for Abarán (exit 107).

CIEZA: The site iis located in the Castle Hill of Cieza.

ACCESS FOR THE HANDICAPPED

CIEZA: It is not feasible to visit with a wheelchair.
