Podemos admirar unas sólidas murallas medievales, viviendas y restos de un castillo. La cronología del despoblado es del s. XII para el castillo, abandonándose en el s. XV.

Horario de invierno de viernes y sábados de 10:00-14:00 y 15:00-18:00, domingos y festivos de 10:00-14:00, de lunes a viernes reservar por teléfono. Tarifa general de 2 € hay entradas reducidas.

RADA SITE (MELIDA-CAPARROSO)

HISTORICAL-ARTISTIC INFORMATION

We can admire solid medieval walls, houses and remains of a castle. The chronology of the town is from 12 th century for the castle, being abandoned in 15 th century.

Winter timetable on Friday and Saturdays from 10 am to 2 pm and from 3 pm to 6 pm; on Sundays and public holidays from 10 am to 2 pm from Monday to Friday reserve by phone. General rate € 2.

		CASTILLO DE MARZILLA INFORMACIÓN HISTORICO-ARTÍSTICA Castillo con foso monumental y grandes torreones en esquinas, los antiguos vanos (algunos de medio punto y otros apuntados) han sido sustituidos; además tiene un puente levadizo una galería en la entrada y patio de armas. HORARIOS-ENTRADA Horario todo el año, de sábados, domingos y festivos a las 12:00, posibilidad de concertar otros horarios para grupos. Entrada 3€.				MARCILLA'S CASTLE HISTORICAL-ARTISTIC INFORMATION Castle with a monumental moat and large turrets on corners, the oldgates (some semiciruclar and othe pointed) have been reformed; in addition it has a drawbridge, a gallery at the entrance and courtyard. TICKETS AND TIMETABLE Timetable all the year, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays at 12 pm possibility of arranging other timetables for groups. Rate € 3.

ACUEDUCTO DE LODOSA

INFORMACIÓN HISTORICO-ARTÍSTICA

La antigua Calagurris dispuso de varias obras hidráulicas importantes, 2 acueductos el de Sierra la Hez y el de Lodosa, el más importante; así como una presa, llamada “de la Degollada”. Hoy el acueducto de Lodosa conserva hoy 13 arcos, pero llego a tener hasta 108. Cronología de fines del siglo I e inicios del II.

AQUEDUCT OF LODOSA

HISTORICAL-ARTISTIC INFORMATION

The old Calagurris disposed of several important hydraulic works, 2 aqueducts called of Sierra la Hez and Lodosa, the most important; as well as a dam, called “De la Degollada”. The aqueduct of Lodosa retains today 13 arches, but go to have up to 108. Chronology of the end of the 1 st century to beginnings of 2 nd century.

MONASTERIO DE LA OLIVA (CARCASTILLO)

INFORMACIÓN HISTORICO-ARTÍSTICA

El Monasterio de la Oliva de Carcastillo empezó a construirse en el siglo XII, la iglesia es cisterciense tiene elementos románicos y el claustro gótico. Junto a la iglesia podemos admirar el palacio abacial.

The monastery of la Oliva of Carcastillo began to be constructed in the 12 th century, the church is Cistercian has Romanesque elements and the Gothic cloister. Next to the church we can admire the abbatial palace.

ERMITA VIRGEN DE SOTO (CAPARROSO)

INFORMACIÓN HISTORICO-ARTÍSTICA

A ermita de la Virgen del Soto de Caparroso es una pequeña construcción de mediados del siglo XVIII, de estilo barroco; con planta de forma de cruz latina, la cabecera es plana; la techumbre es de medio cañón y cúpula en el crucero, con pinturas de Andrés de la Mata; también destacan los retablos de estilo rococó (interior muy recomendable).

HERMIAGE OF VIRGEN DE SOTO (CAPARROSO)

HISTORICAL-ARTISTIC INFORMATION

The hermitage of the Virgin of Soto of Caparroso is a small building of the mid-18 th century, Baroque style, with plan of Latin cross shape, the head is flat; the roof is of barrel vault and dome in the crossin, with paintings of Andrés de la Mata; also stand out the altarpieses rococo style (highly recommended inside).

La iglesia de Santa Fe de Caparroso es un edificio que data del siglo XVII y XVIII; es de estilo barroco; en su interior pueden admirarse diversos elementos de estética barroca, destacando las bóvedas estrelladas.

The church of Santa Fe of Caparroso is a building that dates from the 17 th and 18 th centuries; it is Baroque style; inside tou can admire several alements of Baroque aesthetics, stands out the starry vaults.

		ACCESO A LA RIBERA UBICACIÓN RADA: Para llegar a Caparroso, coger la N-121, y entonces coger la NA-121. Rada se encuentra a 4 Km. de Caparroso, el acceso se hace por una pista ubicada en el Km. 3 de la carretera Caparroso-Melida. MARCILLA: Marcilla se encuentra junto a la AP-15 (Tafalla-Alfaro) y el castillo en el centro del pueblo. LODOSA: Para visitarlo hay que ir a Lodosa, se puede acceder muy bien desde Logroño por la N-134 o por la AP-68. Se ubica en la N-134 a 2 km. de Lodosa, en dirección a la bonita localidad de Mendavia. CARCASTILLO: Puedes acceder desde Catarroso (en la N-121) o desde Sádaba (entre Ejea de los Caballeros y Sos del Rey Católico) CAPARROSO: Se encuentra en la N- 121 entre Pamplona y Castejón (localidad entre Zaragoza y Logroño).				ACCESS TO LA RIBERA LOCATION RADA: To get to Caparroso, take the N-121, and then take the NA-121. Rada is located 4 Km (2,4 miles) from Caparroso, access is made by a track located at Kilometer 3 of Caparroso-Melida road. MARCILLA: Marcilla is located next to the AP-15 (Tafalla-Alfaro) and the castle in the center of the village. LODOSA: To visit it you have to go to Lodosa, you can access very well from Logroño by the N-134 or the AP-68. It is located on the N-134 at 2 Km (1,2 miles) of Lodosa, towards the little town of Mendavia. 		El acceso para minusválidos es: RADA: Hay caminos de grava por todo el despoblado. MARCILLA: Solo a la planta baja. LODOSA: Terreno irregular. CARCASTILLO: Hay unas escaleras en el acceso al monasterio de la Oliva. CAPARROSO: Acceso factible con silla de ruedas para la ermita, aunque hay un pequeño escalón en la entrada.		Access for handicapped is: RADA: There are gravel roads on the site. MARCILLA: Only at the ground floor. LODOSA: Irregular firm. CARCASTILLO: There are stairs in the access to the monastery of La Oliva. CAPARROSO: Accessible with wheelchair for the hermitage, although there is a small step at the entrance.
