La iglesia de La Magdalena (Tudela) es un templo románico de mediados del siglo XII, se cree que se erigió sobre una primitiva iglesia mozárabe; es formidable la fachada con columnas, arquivoltas y tímpano; el ábside es plano; la torre cuadrada es románica; dentro destaca el retablo principal de estilo plateresco.

The church of La Magdalena (Tudela) is a Romanesque temple from the middle of the 12 th century, it is believed it was built on a primitive Mozarabic church; the facade with columns, archivolts and tympanum is formidable; the apse is flat; the square tower is Romanesque; inside stands out the main altarpiece in Plateresque style

La catedral de Santa María de Tudela, es un edificio de estilo románico, iniciado en el siglo XII se concluyó en el siglo XIII, inicialmente fue una colegiata, pero desde el siglo XVIII se convirtió en catedral; el retablo mayor es del siglo XV, de estilo gótico.

Horario de verano (Mayo-octubre) de lunes a sábado (10:00-13:30 y 16:00-19:00), domingos y festivos (11:00-13:30) y horario de invierno (noviembre-Abril) de lunes a viernes (10:00-13:30 y 16:00-19:00), sábados y festivos (10:00-13:30), domingo cerrado. Entrada 4 €.

THE CATHEDRAL (TUDELA)

The cathedral of Santa María of Tudela, is a Romanesque building, started in the 12 th century, was completed in the 13 th century, was initially a collegiate church, but since the 18 th century it became a cathedral; the main altarpiece is from the 15 th c., in Gothic style.

IGLESIA S. JORGE (TUDELA)

INFORMACIÓN HISTORICO-ARTÍSTICA

La iglesia de San Jorge el Real es una iglesia manierista (con el modelo contrarreformista de la Clerecia de Salamanca), del siglo XVII pero las reformas del siglo XVIII le dan un aire barroco; la fachada de ladrillo le aporta una gran sobriedad, muy original es la torre octogonal; dispone de un interesante claustro, sede del centro cultural Castle Ruiz.

El horario de misas es los laborables a las 20:00, los festivos a las 12:30.

CHURCH S. JORGE (TUDELA)

HISTORICAL-ARTISTIC INFORMATION

The church of S. Jorge is a Mannerist church (following the Counter-Reformation model of Clerecia of Salamanca), from the 17 th century but the reforms of the 18 th century give it a Baroque look; the brick façade gives it a great sobriety, the octagonal tower is very original; it has an interesting cloister, home to the Cultural Center Castle Ruiz.

TORRE DE MONREAL (TUDELA)

La torre de Monreal es una torre del siglo XIX de estilo neo-mudéjar, aunque en origen se cree que es árabe, a esta época pertenecería el aljibe. Actualmente es de planta octogonal con remates de ladrillo con almenas y garitones y se ha acondicionado como cámara oscura

MONREAL TOWER (TUDELA)

HISTORICAL-ARTISTIC INFORMATION

The tower of Monreal is a tower of the 19 th century, is neo-Mudejar style, although originally believed to be Arabic, at this time the cistern belonged. It is currently octagonal with brick finials, with battlements and watchtowers and has been conditioned as a Camera Obscura.

PLAZA DE LOS FUEROS (TUDELA)

La plaza de los fueros es el centro urbano de Tudela, construida en el siglo XVII, esta presidida por la casa del reloj y en el centro un original quiosco musical ofrece conciertos musicales en verano. Curiosamente se construyó para servir como plaza de toros.

The square of los Fueros is the urban center of Tudela, built in the 17 th century, is presided over by the clock house and in the center is an original musical kiosk offers music concerts in summer. Curiously it was built to serve as a bullring.

CUEVAS (ARGUEDAS)

En el cortado rocoso que puede verse al este de la localidad de Arguedas, tenemos un grupo de casas-cueva, se datan a finales del siglo XIX, algunas han sido acondicionadas para recibir turistas.

CAVERNS (ARGUEDAS)

In the rocky cliff that can be seen to the east of the town of Arguedas we have a group of cave houses, dating to the late 19 th century, some have been conditioned to receive tourists.

ACCESO POR CARRETERA

(TUDELA)

UBICACIÓN DE ENCLAVES:

TUDELA: Se encuentra a orillas del río Ebro entre Zaragoza y Logroño, puedes acceder por la N-232 o por la AP-68.

ARGUEDAS: Se encuentra al norte de Tudela, se puede acceder por la NA-134, dirección a Pamplona.

ACCESO PARA MINUSVALIDOS:

TUDELA: Acceso factible con silla de ruedas para la iglesia de La Magdalena, la plaza de los fueros y a San Jorge el Real. Pero no es factible a la torre de Monreal y a la catedral.

LOCATION

TUDELA: Located on the banks of the Ebro River between Zaragoza and Logroño, you can access via the N-232 or the AP-68.

ARGUEDAS: It is located north of Tudela, can be accessed by the Na-134, direction to Pamplona.

ACCESS FOR HANDICAPPED

TUDELA: Feasible access with a wheelchair for the church of La Magdalena, the plaza of Los Fueros and San Jorge el Real. But it is not feasible to the tower of Monreal and the cathedral.

ARGUEDAS: Access not feasible.
