Verin: Monumentos y turismo


		VERÍN: Es una localidad emplazada junto al río Támega. La comarca de Verín es una zona de pinos, vides y frutales, es una zona muy fértil y famosa por sus aguas minerales y medicinales, que afloran por la presencia de una falla (Creba da Corga). Verín no conserva muy bien el casco antiguo, pero sí en cambio el famoso castillo de Monterrey, verdadero epicentro del turismo en la localidad. El entorno natural es muy bonito e interesante e invita a conocerlo con rutas de senderismo.		VERÍN: It is a town located next to the Támega River. 		VERÍN: Verín se ubica en la A-52 (tramo Orense-Benavente), accediéndose por la salida 155. Por la A-75 se accede desde Portugal (Vila Verde da Raia y Chaves). Desde Orense capital, hay que tomar la A-52, dirección Madrid, existen múltiples carteles en el pueblo que no dificultan el acceso. CUALEDRO: Para Cualedro coger la salida 173 de la A-52. CASTRO: Desde Cualedro coger dirección a A Xironda, más adelante veremos el cartel para el castro, en A Saceda . Giramos a la izquierda y después a la derecha, entramos en una pista de tierra avanzamos entre 100 y 200 metros, aparcamos y subimos el cerro, las ruinas están en el flanco sur.		VERIN: Verin is located on the A-52 (section Orense-Benavente), accessed by exit 155. By the A-75 you can access from Portugal (Vila Verde da Raia and Chaves). 		VERÍN: La zona donde se concentran los monumentos es el (Centro Histórico). Aquí podemos ver algunos monumentos: (Iglesia de Santa María y la iglesia de las Mercedes). La distancia máxima en los extremos de esta visita es 200 m. La visita se desarrolla por un espacio muy plano. MONTERREY: El castillo se ubica en un cerro. 		VERIN-CASTILLO: Firme muy compacto. No se puede acceder a todas las estancias en silla de ruedas, pero se puede dar un buen paseo por el interior, en la meseta superior no hay mucho desnivel. VERIN Firme recio (caminos de piedra). Zona muy plana. MERCED: Acceso factible, aunque hay un escalón bajo en la entrada. CASTRO: No hay caminos, muchas rocas. Respecto al desnivel es una zona muy desnivelada. Acceso no factible (zona escarpada). 		INFO HISTÓRICO-ARTÍSTICA El castillo de Monterrey es un complejo con murallas, palacetes, una iglesia, un hospital de peregrinos, un convento franciscano y una iglesia de los jesuitas. Dispone de una torre de homenaje de 22 m. de altura y de otra más baja (Las Damas). El castillo se erigió sobre un cerro en los siglos XI y XV. ENTRADAS Y HORARIOS Cerrado lunes y martes, el horario es de 10:30-13:30 y 17:00-20:00 en verano, mientras en invierno es de 10:30-13:30 y 16:00-19:00. El acceso al castillo es libre.
