La iglesia de Santiago pertenece al siglo XII, en su fachada tiene un friso con una curiosa visión del Apocalipsis de San Juan, con el clásico Pantocrátor con los evangelistas, los apóstoles; así como, capiteles y arquivoltas con una iconografía fascinante de los oficios del Medievo.

ENTRADAS Y HORARIOS

En la iglesia de Santiago la entrada cuesta 1 €, el horario de mayo a octubre, de martes a domingo (lunes cerrado) es de 11:00-14:00 y de 17:00-20:00. En invierno es preciso pedir cita previa (978.880.072).

También románica es Santa María del Camino, del siglo XII con fuerte influencia francesa, como vemos en la entrada porticada y un friso con el relieve de la Adoración de los Reyes Magos.

ENTRADAS Y HORARIOS

En Santa María la entrada es gratuita y el horario es en invierno (octubre-marzo) de 11:00-13:00 y 17:00-19:00 y el horario de verano (abril-septiembre) es de 9:00-14:00 y de 16:00-21:00.

		IGLESIA DE SAN ANDRÉS (CARRIÓN DE LOS CONDES) INFORMACIÓN HISTÓRICO-ARTÍSTICA San Andrés de Carrión de los Condes, es del siglo XVI (diseño de Rodrigo Gil de Hontañón), la torre actual sufrió un incendio en la Guerra de la Independencia y fue restaurada en el siglo XIX y la fachada es del siglo XVIII. Gran interés tiene el monasterio de San Zoilo, construcción con elementos románicos, góticos, renacentistas y sobre todo barrocos, el claustro es renacentista, con medallones y bonitas bóvedas. ENTRADAS Y HORARIOS La entrada a San Zoilo es 2 €, el horario en verano (abril-octubre) de martes a domingo es de 10:30-14:00 y de 16:30-20:00 (aunque en Julio y agosto también abre los lunes); en invierno (noviembre-diciembre) de martes a domingo el horario es de de 10:30-14:00 y de 16:00-18:00. ACCESO A CARRIÓN

ACCESO

Carrión de los Condes se ubica en la A-231 y N-120 (que unen León y Burgos). Santiago y Santa María se ubican en el casco antiguo y San Zoilo a las afueras de Carrión al otro lado del río.

ACCESO PARA MINUSVÁLIDOS

El acceso para las sillas de ruedas es bueno, Santiago tiene 2 peldaños en la entrada, en Santa María el problema puede ser la anchura de la puerta, pero no te apenes, lo más interesante es el relieve que esta justo encima; el acceso a San Andrés y San Zoilo es factible.

LOCATION

Carrión de los Condes is located in the A-231 and N-120 (Léon-Burgos). Santiago and Santa María are located in the old town and San Zoilo on the outskirts of Carrión on the other side of the river.

ACCESS FOR THE HANDICAPPED

The access for wheelchairs is good, Santiago only has 2 steps in the gate, in Santa María the only problem may be the with of the door, but don't worry the most interesting is the relief that is right above it; access to San Andrés is feasible and easier is the access and the moving at San Zoilo.

VILLA DE LA OLMEDA (PEDROSA DE LA VEGA)

La villa de la Olmeda es una magnífica villa romana, con espectaculares mosaicos y en planta tiene la estructura típica de una villa romana. Datación de los siglos I a V.

ENTRADAS Y HORARIOS

Entrada 5 €, se pueden concertar visitas guiadas (precisa reserva previa), el horario es de 10:30 a 18:30, cerrando los lunes.

Acceso por Palencia en dirección Guardo y , antes de llegar a Saldaña esta el desvió.
