MONASTERIO DE S. ANDRÉS DE ARROYO

El monasterio de San Andrés del Arroyo es una joya de estilo románico, destacan el claustro datado en el siglo XII, con bellos capiteles; la sala capitular del siglo XIII, la iglesia del siglo XII y la bodega del siglo XVIII, donde pueden verse tumbas antropomorfas.

VISITA: Es visita guiada a las 11:00, 12:00, 12:30, 16:00, 17:00 y 18:00, entrada 5€, visita gratuita los lunes, sin guía. Cerrado (16 de diciembre al 14 de marzo).
   

MONASTERY OF S. ANDRÉS DE ARROYO

The monastery of San Andrés del Arroyo is a jewel of Romanesque style, highlighting the cloister dated in the 12 th century, with beautiful capitals; the 13 th century chapter house, the 12 th century church and the 18 th century cellar where anthropomorphic tombs can be seen.

VISIT: It is a guided tour at 11:00, 12:00, 12:30, 4:00, 5:00 and 6:00 pm admission €5, free visit on Mondays, without a guide. Closed (December 16 to March 14).
 
 

IGLESIA DE S. JUAN DE MOARVES

La iglesia de San Juan de Moarves es un edificio de finales del siglo XII, de estilo románico (con reformas góticas), construido en sillería, sobresaliendo sobre todo la magnífica portada que recuerda a la de Carrión de los Condes, entre los elementos góticos destaca la bóveda estrellada y la espadaña.

VISITA: Pedir llave en la casa de enfrente, aunque suele haber un voluntario.
   

CHURCH OF S. JUAN DE MOARVES

The church of San Juan de Moarves is a building of the late 12 th century, Romanesque style (with Gothic reforms), built in ashlar masonry, especially highlighting the magnificent facade with reminiscent of Carrión de los Condes, among the Gothic elements highlihts the starry vault and the belltower.

VISIT: Ask for a key in the house opposite, although there is usually a volunteer.
 
 

IGLESIA DE LA ASUNCIÓN – PERAZANCAS

La iglesia de La Asunción de Perazancas es un edificio románico de fines del siglo XII, pero transformado a lo largo de la historia, del románico conserva el ábside central y la espadaña; en la portada es muy original el conjunto de esculturas de músicos; en el siglo XV el templo fue ampliado; y en el siglo XVII se cambio la orientación y se amplio.

CHURCH OF LA ASUNCIÓN – PERAZANCAS

The church of La Asunción of Perazancas is a Romanesque building from the late 12 th century but transformed throughout history, it's romanesque the central apse and the belltower; on the facade is very original the set of sculptures of musicians; in the 15 th century the temple was enlarged, and in the 17 th century the orientation was changed and widened.

IGLESIA DE LA ASUNCIÓN – COZUELOS

En el pueblo tenemos la iglesia de la Asunción de Cozuelos de Ojeda, se data en el siglo XVII, se construyó en sillería, conserva una alta y magnífica torre, y delante de la entrada un templete (conjuradero de nublos), dentro destaca el retablo rococó.

VISITA: Contacto pedir llaves en el pueblo.
   

CHURCH OF LA ASUNCIÓN – COZUELOS

In the town we have the church of La Asunción de Cozuelos de Ojeda, it dates back to the 17 th century, it was built in ashlar masonry, it has a tall and magnificent tower and in front of the entrance there is a shrine (the conspiracy), inside stands out the rococo altarpiece.

ERMITA DE Sª CECILIA – VALLESPINOSO

Sobre un risco rocoso, se ubica la ermita de Santa Cecilia de Vallespinoso de Aguilar, obra de sillería es un templo románico del siglo XII, el templo es un pequeño edificio con ábside semicilindrico, en el muro sur se ubica la fachada con arquivoltas y bellos capiteles.

VISITA: Horario de verano (1 de junio al 15 de octubre) de viernes a domingo de 10:30-13:30 y 17:00-20:00, lunes cerrado, tarifa 1,50€.
   

HERMITAGE OF Sª CECILIA – VALLESPINOSO

On a rocky cliff, the hermitage of Santa Cecilia of Vallespinoso de Aguilar is located, work of ashlar masonry is a Romanesque temple of the 12 th century, the temple is a small building with semi-cylindrical apse, on the south wall is located the facade with archivolts and beautiful capitals.

VISIT: Summer time (June 1 to October 15) from Friday to Sunday from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm and 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, closed Monday € 1,50 rate.

La iglesia de San Andrés de Vallespinoso es la iglesia parroquial de este pueblo, el edificio tiene sus orígenes en el siglo XVI, construida en sillería de gran calidad, dispone de 3 naves, con un porche, y una alta espadaña, aunque de líneas muy simples; dentro hay dos retablos de estilo barroco.

VISITA: Acceso no factible, solo exterior.

The church of San Andrés of Vallespinoso is the parish church of this town, the building has its origins in the 16 th century, built in high quality ashlar masonry, has 3 naves, with a porch and a tall bellltower, although very simple; inside there are 2 baroque altarpieces.

VISIT: Access not feasible, only outside.
 
 

IGLESIA DE S. SALVADOR – CANTAMUDA

La iglesia de San Salvador de Cantamuda es un edificio románico de finales del siglo XII o inicios del siglo XIII. Sobresale la alta espadaña, rematada en triangulo, un largo pórtico (moderno) de 3 arcos decora la fachada. En el interior llama la atención la mesa de altar creada con columnas románicas.

VISITA: Horario de verano (hasta el 15 de noviembre) de martes a domingo de 11:00-14:00 y de 17:00-20:00, entrada 1€. Teléfono 979.87.90.28.
   

CHURCH OF S. SALVADOR – CANTAMUDA

The church of San Salvador de Cantamuda is a Romanesque building from the end of the 12 th century or the beginning of the 13 th century. The tall belltower stands out, finished in a triangle, a long portico (modern) with 3 arches decorates the facade. Inside the altar table created with Romanesque columns stands out.

ACCESO: Coger la A-67, carretera que une Santander y Palencia y salirse preferentemente en la Salida 88 (aunque también puedes salirte en Aguilar de Campoo y cruzar esta localidad).

ACCESO DE MINUSVÁLIDOS: Hay muy pocos escalones en San Andrés del Arroyo, pero es factible la visita. Acceso factible en silla de ruedas en San Juan de Moarves; no factible en la iglesia de la Asunción de Perazancas (escalinata); acceso no factible en la iglesia de Santa Cecilia de Vallespinoso de Aguilar (área escarpada y en rampa).

   

ACCESS: Take the A-67, the road between Santander and Palencia and exit preferably at exit 88 (although you can also get off at Aguilar de Campoo and cross this town).

ACCESS FOR HANDICAPPED: There are very few steps in San Andres del Arroyo, but the visit is feasible. Wheelchair accessible in San Juan de Moarves; not feasible in the church of La Asunción of Perazancas (staircase), access not feasible in the church of Santa Cecilia of Vallespinoso de Aguilar (steep area and ramp).
