El convento de las Madres Agustinas Recoletas o de Santa Rita (Villagarcía de Arousa) es un complejo monástico construido en sillería con elementos de diversos estilos artísticos, predominan los de estilo barroco (siglo XVII), es interesante admirar la heráldica, fachada y bóvedas.

El Pazo de Vistalegre (Villagarcía de Arousa) es una construcción del siglo XVI, obra de Don Álvaro de Mendoza y Sotomayor, es un edificio de sillería de estilo renacentista, sobresaliendo los escudos del Marqués de Villagarcía, de los Andrade, los Sotomayor, los Caamaño y los Mendoza; también destacan las gárgolas y chimeneas.

The Vistalegre palace (Villagarcía de Arousa) is a construction from 16 th century, work of Don Álvaro de Mendoza and Sotomayor, it is a Renaissance style, of ashlar masonry, standing out the shields of the Marquis of Villagarcía, of Andrade, of Sotomayor, of Caamaño and of Mensoza; gargoyles and chimneys also stand out.

The hillfort of Alobre (Villagarcía de Arousa), also called Castro de San Cristovo, is a fort of the Iron Age with Roman remains (Roman necropolis with tombs and an altar), is located on a promontory.

La iglesia de San Martinho de Sobrán (Villagarcía de Arousa), es un edificio del siglo XII, románico; en el interior la bóveda de cañón y los arcosolios (tumbas funerarias de pared), son los elementos más interesantes, en el exterior la fachada es el elemento más destacado con contrafuertes, torre, rosetón y pequeño arco de acceso con arquivoltas.

HORARIOS- ENTRADA

El horario de misas en verano (julio-agosto) es laborables a las 19:00 y festivos a las 11:00 y 12:00; mientras el horario de invierno es laborables a las 18:00 y festivos a las 11:00 y 12:00.

S. MARTIÑO (VILLAGARCÍA DE AROUSA)

HISTORICAL-ARTISTIC INFORMATION

The church of San Martinho de Sobrán (Villagarcía de Arousa), is a building of 12 th century, Romanesque; inside the barrel vault and the wall funerary tombs (arcosolios) are the most interesting elements, outside the façade is the most interesting element with 2 thick buttresses, tower, rose window and small access arch with archivolts.

The timetable of masses in summer (July-August) is working at 19:00 and holidays at 11:00 and 12:00; while the winter timetable is working at 18:00 and holidays at 11:00 and 12:00.

Puedes acceder a Villagarcía de Arousa, desde la AP-9 (peaje) o desde la N-550 que conectan Santiago de Compostela y Porriño y después coger la N-640 que va directo a Villagarcía de Arousa.

Para usuarios de silla de ruedas, el acceso es factible a Santa Eulalia.

No es factible al convento de Santa Rita (escalones), a San Martinho (escalones), a Castro Alobre (área irregular) y al Pazo de Vistalegre (escaleras).

For wheelchair users, access is feasible to Santa Eulalia.

It is not feasible to the convent of Santa Rita (steps), to San Martiño (steps), to Alobre hillfort (irregular area) and to Vistalegre palace (stairs).
