La Iglesia de Santa Maria de Marvila, data del siglo XII fue construida por los templarios, pero el edificio fue reconstruido en el siglo XVI por Don Manuel, de este periodo es la fachada, el arco triunfal del altar mayor y la bóveda de nervios de la cabecera; dentro además podemos admirar los paneles de azulejos del siglo XVII.

ENTRADAS Y HORARIOS

El horario de martes a viernes es de 9:30 a 12:30 y de 14:00 a 18:00, los sábados es de 9:30 a 12:30 y de 14:00 a 18:30 y el domingo es de 9:30 a 12:30 y de 14:00 a 17:30.

El Museo municipal se encuentra enclavado en la iglesia de San Juan de Alporao, desde (1889), dispone de magníficas piezas de tipo arqueológico, romanas y medievales.

TORRE DAS CABEÇAS – SANTAREM

La torre de las Cabezas es una torre medieval, se remonta al siglo XV, a tiempos de Don Manuel I, también es conocida como Torre del Reloj, la torre forma parte de las instalaciones del Museo Municipal.

TOWER DAS CABEÇAS – SANTARÉM

ACCESO

Santarém es una ciudad estratégica, bien comunicada, desde el sur se accede por la A-13 y A-2 (Setúbal), y por la A-1 (Lisboa); hacia la costa se dirige la A-15 (Caldas de Rainha, Óbidos y Peniche), hacia el norte tenemos la A-1 (Leiria, Coimbra, Porto) y al interior de Portugal puedes coger la A-23 si subes por la A-1.

La A-1 es la carretera que deja al visitante más cerca de Santarém, accediéndo después a la “Circular Urbana Santarem Dom Luis I”, las salidas “Santarém Norte” y la “Santarém centro” son las mejores para acceder al centro histórico.

ACCESS TO SANTARÉM

LOCATION
