Cornago-Aguilar: Monumentos y Turismo


		CORNAGO: Es un pequeño pueblo, encaramado a un cerro, con un bonito castillo medieval, con yacimientos de icnitas. La zona muy deforestada no conserva la vegetación autóctona, solo una colonia de buitres patrulla los cielos de Cornago; pero en la localidad hay algunos rincones bonitos, el castillo, la iglesia, algunas ermitas, palacetes y casonas. AGUILAR: Aguilar, se ubica junto al río Alhama es un pueblo pequeño, de callejero irregular, poco cuidado, como Cornago también tiene icnitas, hay que subrayar que Aguilar es interesante por los yacimientos ibero-romanos que tiene, con curiosas viviendas excavadas en la roca y su formidable foso.		CORNAGO: It is a small town perched on a hill, with a beautiful medieval castle, with ichnites deposits. The highly deforest area doesn't preserve the native vegetation, only a colony of vultures patrols the skies of Cornago; but in the town there are some pretty corners, the castle, the church, some hermitages, mansions and little palaces. 		CONTREBIA LEUCADE: Acceso por la N- 232, por Calahorra o desde el Villar de Arnedo, dirigiéndose hacia Arnedo, después por la LR-123 dirigirse a Cervera del río Alhama y desde allí a Inestrillas a 1 Km. de este pueblo y a 3 Km. de Aguilar del río Alhama se ubica el yacimiento. CORNAGO: El mejor acceso se realiza por la ruta Calahorra-Arnedo-Villarroya (LR-134 y LR-123) cogiendo el desvío para Cornago. O por la ruta Alfaro-Fitero-Baños-Rincón-Igea (LR-385, LR-289 y LR-283). 		CORNAGO: Junto a la ermita de la Virgen del Villar y el Tronco Fósil de Igea, entre Cornago e Igea se ubica una pequeña área Recreativa, en la que tienes un merendero y una fuente; no es un lugar deslumbrante, pero puedes parar si lo necesitas. AGUILAR: Si pasas por Cervera desde el puente, hay vistas espectaculares de las peñas y riscos de las ruinas del castillo. El castillo de Cornago es una fortaleza medieval, datada en los siglos XIV y XV, al parecer fue mandada construir por Don Álvaro de Luna, sobre otra anterior del siglo XII, tiene torreones circulares (3) y rectangulares (1), en alguna torre se conservan los matacanes; en el patio se conserva un aljibe; el acceso se realiza por un arco apuntado (Arco de la Campanilla).
