		SANTO DOMINGO DE LA CALZADA: Situada junto al río Oja, es escala del Camino de Santiago. Es una localidad pequeña, con casonas de piedra, algunas con escudos y bonitos arcos, lo que ha permitido que sea declarado Conjunto Histórico-Artístico en (1973). El patrimonio de Santo Domingo es muy abundante, tiene además de la catedral, varias iglesias, conventos, ermitas, casonas, la muralla y el puente. Esta tranquila y bonita localidad tiene rincones preciosos que esperan a que los descubras.		SANTO DOMINGO DE LA CALZADA: Located next to the Oja River, it is a stopover on the Camino de Santiago. El mejor acceso es por la A-12 (salidas 127 y 130), también se puede acceder por la N-120. Santo Domingo tiene conexión con Haro y Ezcaray por la LR-111. 		SANTO DOMINGO DE LA CALZADA: En la localidad hay poco aparcamiento, no es recomendable adentrarse mucho. Hay un parking interesante junto a la ronda de las murallas. El aparcamiento es gratuito. La ubicación del aparcamiento recomendado es muy cercana. Vernur colabora con muchos ayuntamientos en la regulación del tráfico de sus municipios, evitando colapsar algunas zonas, lo que provocaría “Turismofobia”, facilitando a la vez el acceso del visitante tanto al aparcamiento como a los centros históricos. 		INFO HISTORICO-ARTÍSTICA La catedral se comienza en el siglo XII para cobijar los restos del santo, Santo Domingo de la Calzada, en el exterior sobresale la torre exenta de 69 metros de altura de estilo barroco. Dentro hay que admirar los capiteles historiados del deambulatorio, así como el coro de estilo plateresco; de gran interés es el sepulcro del santo, que tiene lauda sepulcral románica, mesa gótica y templete tardo-gótico. HORARIOS-ENTRADA El horario de verano (1 de Marzo a 6 de Enero) es de lunes a viernes de 9:00-20:15, sábados de 9:00-19:10, domingos y festivos es de 9:00-12:10 y 14:00-20:10; el horario de invierno (7 de enero a 18 de febrero) es de lunes a viernes de 11:00-13:00 y de 16:00-18:00, los sábados de 11:00-19:10, domingos y festivos de 11:00-12:10 y de 14:00-18:00. INFO HISTORICO-ARTÍSTICA

Las murallas de San Domingo de la Calzada son las mejor conservadas de La Rioja, se edificaron en el siglo XIV en el marco de las luchas sucesorias de Pedro I de Castilla y su hermanastro Enrique II de Trastámara, tenía 1670 metros de longitud y se ejecutó en sillería.
