CLAVIJO: Dispone de un castillo encaramado a una montaña extremadamente inaccesible, fue además el solar de la mítica batalla de Clavijo (844) que enfrento al rey Ramiro I de Asturias y a Abderramán II.

El valor estratégico es evidente al tenerse control sobre el valle del río Leza y parte del río Iregua.

Además del castillo puedes visitar el monasterio de San Prudencio y dos iglesias.

AUSEJO: Es una pequeña localidad riojana ubicada sobre un cerro, con un caserío poco cuidado, con algunos monumentos y rincones interesantes.

CLAVIJO: Es muy interesante la ruta senderista que discurre de Clavijo al Monasterio de San Prucendio, no es muy larga, pero discurre por una zona escarpada.

Podrás realizar una parada en el camino en el Parque Ciudad de Astorga de Clavijo, con área infantil y bancos. Puedes informarte de Clavijo en la oficina de Logroño.

Se trata de un bellísimo castillo, encaramado a unos grandes bloques de piedra; puedes admirar su muralla de 85 m de longitud con 4 torreones y 1,50 m de grosor.

La iglesia de Santa María de Ausejo es un conjunto de estilos arquitectónicos producto de las reformas que ha sufrido este edificio, hay elementos góticos, barrocos y mudéjar, buena parte del edificio se data en el siglo XVI.

En el exterior sorprende la altura del templo y la altura de la gran torre, de estilo mudéjar, rematada en un campanario octogonal.
