PALACIO DE LOS CONTRERAS

El Palacio de los Contreras (también llamado Casa de Don Álvaro de Luna) es un bello edificio de estilo Gótico, datado en el siglo XV, la fachada dispone de cordón, heráldica y grandes dovelas, al estilo castellano; dentro sobresalen los fabulosos artesonados.

The Palace of Los Contreras (also called Casa de Don Álvaro de Luna) is a beautiful building of Gothic style, dated in the 15 th century, tha facade has cord, heraldic and large voussoirs, in the Castilian style, inside the fabulous coffered ceilings highlights.

IGLESIAS DE AYLLÓN

En Ayllón sobresalen dos iglesias la de San Miguel y la de Santa María la Mayor. En San Miguel iglesia del estilo románico, sobresale una espadaña, ábside de gran belleza y estructura adosada a modo de porche. Mientras la iglesia de Santa María tiene una formidable espadaña de 40 m. de altura, es de estilo neoclásico

CHURCHES OF AYLLON

In Ayllon, 2 churches stand out: San Miguel and Santa Maria la Mayor. In San Miguel have a church of Romanesque style, stands a belltower, apse of great beauty and attaches structures as a porch. While the church of Santa Maria has a formidable belltower of 40 m. (131.2 ft) height, is neoclassical style.

FORTIFICACIONES DE AYLLÓN

Hay que hablar de la Torre de la Martina y de la Puerta de la Villa. La torre de La Martina es una torre de origen árabe, de un antiguo alcázar árabe. La Puerta de la Villa es un arco medieval Gótico, la puerta es de sillería y sillarejo con ladrillo, destacando la heráldica de los marqueses de Villena.

FORTIFICATIONS OF AYLLON

We must talk about the Marina Tower and the Villa Gate. The tower of La Martina is a tower of Arab origin, from an old Arab fortress. The gate of La Villa is a Gothic Medieval arch, the door is made of ashlar and masonry with brick, highlighting the heraldry of the Marquis of Villena.

ACCESO

Ayllón se encuentra entre Riaza y S. Esteban de Gormaz; desde Madrid puedes coger la A-1 y tras entrar en la provincia de Segovia coger la carretera de Riaza-Soria, salida 103, cruzar Riaza y después te lleva a Ayllón. Desde Soria y Aranda de Duero coger la N-122 hasta San Esteban de Gormaz y aquí coger la carretera de Segovia N-110 que lleva a Ayllón.

Con silla de ruedas solo la planta baja y el exterior.

LOCATION

Ayllón is between Riaza and San Esteban de Gormaz, from Madrid you can take the A-1 and shortly after entering the province of Segovia take the exit 103 (Riaza-Soria), cross Riaza and then take the road to Ayllón. From Soria and Aranda de Duero take the N-122 and in San Esteban de Gormaz take the road to Segovia N-110 that leads to Ayllón.
