IG. DE EL SALVADOR (SEVILLA)

La iglesia de El Salvador se construyó sobre una antigua mezquita del siglo IX, quizás la parte inferior de la torre pueda datarse en esta época, pero el actual edificio es en gran parte del siglo XVII-XVIII, por tanto es una iglesia de estilo barroco, con influencia manierista. Su interior con nave a modo de “Gran Salón”, con grandes columnas y la alta cúpula sobre tambor, producen un aire grandioso. No olvidar los bellos retablos.

VISITA : Horario de Verano (julio-agosto) de lunes a sábado (10:00-17:00) y domingos (15:00-19:00). Horario de invierno de lunes a sábado (11:00-17:30) y domingos (15:00-19:00). Entrada 4 €, gratis si se compra la entrada de la catedral.

EL SALVADOR (SEVILLA)

The church of El Salvador was built on an old mosque of the 9th century, perhaps the lower part of the tower can be dated at this time, but the current building is largely 17-18 th centuries; therefore, it is a baroque church, with Mannerist influence. Its inside with nave as a “Great Hall”, with large columns and high dome on drum; produce a great air. Don't forget the beautiful altarpieces.

VISIT : Summer timetable (July-August) from Monday to Saturday (10:00-17:00) and Sundays (15:00-19:00). Winter timetable from Monday to Saturday (11:00-17:30) ans Sundays (15:00-19:00). Tickets €4, free if you buy the ticket for the cathedral.

IG. S. LUIS (SEVILLA)

La iglesia de San Luis de los Franceses de Sevilla, es quizás el más notable templo del siglo XVIII de la ciudad de Sevilla, fue encargada por los jesuitas, dispone de planta de cruz griega, en su interior hay que admirar las columnas salomónicas, la gran cúpula sobre tambor (pinturas de Lucas Valdés), las yeserías policromadas, las vidrieras barrocas y los retablos, en especial el retablo mayor obra de Pedro Duque Cornejo.

VISITA : Horario de martes a domingo de 10:00-14:00 y 16:00-20:00.

SAN LUIS (SEVILLA)

The church of San Luis de los Franceses in Seville, is perhaps the most remarkable temple of the 18 th century of the city of Seville, was commissioned by the Jesuits, has a Greek cross plan, inside you have to admire the Solomonic columns, the large dome (paintings by Lucas Valdes); polychrome plasterwork, baroque stained glass windows and altarpieces, especially the main altarpiece by Pedro Duque Cornejo.

VISIT : Timetable from Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 to 14:00 and 16:00-20:00.

IG. S. PEDRO (SEVILLA)

La iglesia de San Pedro de Sevilla es un bello edificio con diversos estilos artísticos, hay elementos góticos, de estilo mudéjar y de estilo barroco. Se construyó sobre una mezquita islámica, la iglesia tiene 3 naves con arcos apuntados, con una cubierta de artesonado mudéjar, mientras el retablo mayor es del siglo XVII obra de Felipe Dionisio de Ribas. La torre campanario es mudéjar del siglo XVI y la fachada manierista se data en el siglo XVII.

VISITA : Horario de lunes a jueves (8:30-13:00 y 19:00-20:30), viernes (8:30-11:30), sábados (8:30-13:00 y 19:00-20:30) y domingos (9:30-13:30 y 19:00-20:30).

SAN PEDRO (SEVILLA)

The church of San Pedro of Seville is a beautiful building with diverse artistic styles, there are Gothic elements, of Mudejar and Baroque styles. It was built on an Islamic mosque, the church has 3 naves with pointed arches, with a Mudejar coffered ceiling, while the main altarpiece is the 17 th century work of Felipe Dionisio de Ribas. The bell tower is Mudejar from the 16 th century and the Mannerist façade dtes back to the 17 th century.

VISIT : Timetable from Monday to Thursday (8:30-13:00 and 19:00-20:30), Friday (8:30-11:30), Saturdays (8:30-13:00 and 19:00-20-30) and Sundays (9:30-13:30 and 19:00-20:30).

IG. S. ROMAN (SEVILLA)

Aunque la iglesia de San Román de Sevilla se remonta al siglo XIV, como muchas otras ha sido muy alterada en los siglos XVII y XVIII, recibiendo elementos de clara inspiración barroca. La fachada es abocinada de arcos apuntados, a los lados hay ventanas de arcos polilobulados de estilo mudéjar; mientras la torre del siglo XVII es barroca.

VISITA : Horario de misa en verano (julio y agosto) los laborables a las 20:30 y los festivos a las 10:00, 12:00 y 20:30. Horario de misa en invierno (septiembre a junio), laborables a las 20:00, festivos a las 10:00, 12:00, 13:00 y 20:00.

SAN ROMAN (SEVILLA)

Although the church of San Roman of Seville dates back to the 14 th century, like many others it has been very altered in the 17 th and 18 th centuries, receiving elements of clear Baroque inspiration. The façade is funnel-shape with pointed arches, on the sides there are windows with polylobulated arches of Mudejar atyle; while the 17 th century tower is baroque.

La Iglesia de Santa Catalina de Sevilla es un templo del siglo XIV, de estilo gótico-mudéjar, construida sobre una antigua mezquita, en su parte posterior puede verse el alminar y el mihrab; la portada de arcos apuntados y arquivoltas es gótica, el techo es de artesonado mudéjar, la capilla sacramental y el retablo son barrocos.

VISITA : Horario de misa en verano (julio y agosto) los laborables a las 20:30 y los festivos a las 10:00, 12:00 y 20:30. Horario de misa en invierno (septiembre a junio), laborables a las 20:00, festivos a las 10:00, 12:00, 13:00 y 20:00.

SANTA CATALINA (SEVILLA)

The church of Santa Catalina of Seville is a 14 th century temple, of Gothic-Mudejar style, built on an old mosque, on its back you can see the minaret and the mihrab; the facade of pointed arches and archivolts is Gothic; the ceiling is coffered Mudejar, the Sacramental chapel and the altarpiece are Baroque.

La Iglesia de San Esteban de Sevilla es un templo del siglo XIV, de estilo gótico-mudéjar, también se levanto sobre una antigua mezquita, tiene portadas de arcos ojivales de estilo gótico, la torre es del siglo XVIII, de estilo barroco.

VISITA : Los horarios de misa en verano son de lunes a viernes (8:15), sábados (21:00) y domingos y festivos a las (11:00). Los horarios de misa en invierno son de lunes a viernes (10:00), sábados (20:00) y domingos y festivos a las (11:00).

SAN ESTEBAN (SEVILLA)

The Church of San Esteban in Seville is a 14 th century temple, of Gothic-Mudejar style, it was also built on an old mosque, it has ogival arches in Gothic style, the tower is from the 18 th century, in the Baroque style.

La iglesia de San Ildefonso de Sevilla es un edificio de estilo neoclásico, erigido entre los siglos XVIII y XIX. La portada principal es muy monumental y dispone de 2 torres y en una hornacina puede verse a San Ildefonso es de estilo barroco; mientras que la portada lateral es de estilo neoclásico, es muy elegante y sobria con columnas de orden toscano y frontón triangular. En el interior pueden admirarse los retablos, sobre todo el retablo mayor.

VISITA : Los horarios de misa en verano son de lunes a viernes (11:00), sábados (19:00) y domingos y festivos a las (11:00). Los horarios de misa en invierno son de lunes (19:00), martes (11:00), miércoles y jueves (19:00), sábados (11:00 y 19:00) y domingos a las (11:00).

SAN ILDEFONSO (SEVILLA)

The church of San Ildefonso of Seville is a building of neoclassical style, erected between the 18 th and 19 th centuries. The main facade is very monumental and has 2 towers and in a niche can be seen San Ildefonso, is Baroque style; while the lateral facade is of neoclassical style, it is very elegant and sober with columns of Tuscan order and triangular pediment. Inside you can admire the altarpieces, especially the main altarpiece.

VISIT : The mass timetable in summer are from Monday to Friday (11:00), Saturdays (19:00) and Sundays and holidays at (11:00). The winter mass timetable are Monday (19:00), Tuesday (11:00), Wednesday and Thursday (19:00), Saturday (11:00 and 19:00) and Sundays (11:00).

IG. S. JULIAN (SEVILLA)

La Iglesia de San Julián de Sevilla es un templo del siglo XIV, de estilo gótico-mudéjar, tiene 3 naves con arcos apuntados, la cabecera es poligonal, y se accede a ella por un arco triunfal y se cubre con bóveda nervada gótica, el resto de cubiertas son de madera.

VISITA : Horario de misas: Lunes a viernes (19:00 y 20:00), en verano (julio-agosto) es a las 10:00 y 20:00), sábados (10:00, 19:00 y 20:00), en invierno (10:00 y 20:30); domingos 10:00 y 12:00.

SAN JULIAN (SEVILLA)

The church of San Julian is a 14 th century church of Gothic-Mudejar style, it has 3 naves with pointed arches, the head is polygonal and it is accessed by a triumphal arch and covered with ribbed Gothic vault, the rest of the covers are made of wood.

VISIT : Mass timetable: Monday to Friday (19:00 and 20:00); in Summer (July-August) is 10:00 and 20:00, Saturday (10:00, 19:00 and 20:00), in Winter (10:00 and 20:30); Sundays (10:00 and 12:00).

IG. STA MARINA (SEVILLA)

La Iglesia de Santa Marina de Sevilla es un templo del siglo XIII, de estilo gótico-mudéjar, tiene 3 naves, con arcos apuntados, la cabecera es poligonal de 5 lados, la portada es de arcos apuntados y con arquivoltas.

VISITA : Horario de misas los domingos a las 12:00

The church of Santa Marina in Seville is a 13 th century temple, of Gothic-Mudejar style, it has 3 naves, with pointed arches, the head is polygonal with 5 sides, the facade is of pointed arches and with archivolts.

VISIT : Mass timetable on Sundays at 12:00.

Con silla de ruedas tenemos visita factible para San Esteban, San Pedro, Santa Catalina, San Ildefonso (rampa) y San Julián y visita no factible solo exterior para S. Román (escalones), San Luis (escaleras) y El Salvador (escalinata).

With a wheelchair we have a feasible visit to San Esteban, San Pedro, Santa Catalina, San Ildefonso (ramp) and San Julian and it isn't feasible to visit, only the outside for San Roman (steps), San Luis (stairs) and El Salvador (stairway).
