Osuna: Monumentos y turismo


		OSUNA: Osuna es una localidad ubicada en una campiña dedicada a labores de secano (cereales, legumbres, olivo y esparto), pero también tiene zonas de sierra y humedales. Los turdetanos la llamaron Urso, los romanos la llamaron Colonia Genetiva Iulia; después los musulmanes la llamaron Oxona, más tarde fue reconquistada por Fernando III (1239). En tiempos de Felipe II nació el ducado de Osuna, con Pedro Téllez-Girón, es el momento de mayor esplendor de Osuna, con una fuerte actividad constructiva, de edificios renacentistas. Entre los monumentos que podemos visitar tenemos la Universidad (s. XVI), la Colegiata de la Asunción (siglo XVI), el convento de la Encarnación, la Casa de los Govanes (s. XVIII), el Palacio Cepeda (s. XVIII) y el arco de la Pastora (s. XVIII).		OSUNA: Osuna is a town located in a countryside dedicated to dry farming (cereals, legumes, olive trees and esparto grass), but it also has mountain areas and wetlands. The Turdetans called it Urso, the Romans called it Colonia Genetiva Iulia; later the Muslims called it Oxona, later it was reconquered by Fernando III (1239). In the times of Philip II, the Duchy of Osuna was born, with Pedro Téllez-Girón, it is the moment of the greatest splendour of Osuna, with a strong building activity, of Renaissance buildings. Among the monuments that we can visit we have the University (16 th c.), the Collegiate Church of La Asunción (16 th c.), la Encarnación convent, the House of los Govanes (18 th c.), the Cepeda Palace (18 th c.) and the Arco de la Pastora (18 th century).


		OSUNA: Osuna se encuentra en la A-92 (Sevilla-Granada), por la salida 84 se accede muy bien a la zona monumental. Hay cartelería para acceder a la zona monumental, pero es imprecisa. 		OSUNA: En la localidad hay poco aparcamiento, no es recomendable adentrarse mucho. Salvo los visitantes con problemas de accesibilidad (recomendado P1). Hay un parking pequeño a la entrada, junto a un parque (entre dos glorietas). El aparcamiento es gratuito. Vernur colabora con muchos ayuntamientos en la regulación del tráfico de sus municipios, evitando colapsar algunas zonas, lo que provocaría “Turismofobia”, facilitando a la vez el acceso del visitante tanto al aparcamiento como a los centros históricos.		OSUNA: In the locality there is little parking, it is not recommended to enter too far. Except the people with accessibility problems (recommended P1). There are a large parking, next to a park (between two roundabouts). Parking is free. 		OSUNA: La zona donde se concentran los monumentos es el Centro Histórico. Ver plano Vernur. En la zona alta podemos ver la Universidad, la colegiata, la Encarnación y la Merced y en la zona baja el museo, el palacio Cepeda, la casa Govanes, Santo Domingo y Nuestra Señora de la Victoria. La distancia en los extremos de esta visita es 2,5 Km. La visita se desarrolla por un espacio muy plano con cuestas. Vernur recomienda que no olvides llevar calzado cómodo y confortable, ropa acorde al clima, un buen sombrero y no olvides hidratarte. In the Upper area we can see the University, the Collegiate-church, the Encarnación and the Merced and in the low area the museum, the Cepeda Palace, the Govanes House, Santo Domingo and Nuestra Señora de la Victoria. The maximum distance at the ends of this visit are 2.5 Km. The visit takes place through a space flat, with slopes. Vernur recommends that you don't forget to wear comfortable shoes, clothing appropriate to the climate, a good hat and don't forget to hydrate.


		OSUNA: En cuanto al firme tenemos caminos de piedra y cemento. Pavimento recio y compacto. Respecto al desnivel es una zona plana y con cuestas. Hay bordillos en las aceras. Visita exterior con silla de ruedas a todos los monumentos el acceso al interior es limitado y solo factible en el Museo; la colegiata de Nuestra Señora de La Asunción tiene un alto escalón en la entrada. La tecnología de las sillas de ruedas ha avanzado mucho, cada vez más ligeras, hay modelos plegables, con todo tipo de adaptaciones, trata de conseguir una moderna, incluso hay ciudades donde se pueden alquilar, contacta con nosotros para añadir información. 		OSUNA: Para realizar una parada y descansar, te aconsejamos el Parque de San Arcadio, que es un parque urbano, situado junto a la Plaza de Toros de Osuna, con un arbolado muy bonito, estanques, bancos, columpios para niños y bares cercanos. 		INFO HISTORICO-ARTÍSTICA La Universidad de Osuna es un edificio de estilo renacentista que se data en el siglo XVI, la construcción es de planta rectangular con torres en las esquinas; dentro destaca la capilla con artesonado plateresco, el retablo de la virgen de la Inmaculada y la Sala de Grados con pinturas del siglo XVI; mientras el claustro tiene 2 plantas destacando las columnas de mármol blanco y azulejos. Huerta 10, es una construcción que se data en el s XVIII, de estilo barroco, se decora como otros palacios con el escudo heráldico de la familia, y balcón.
