UNIVERSIDAD (OSUNA)

La Universidad de Osuna es un edificio de estilo renacentista que se data en el siglo XVI, la construcción es de planta rectangular con torres en las esquinas; dentro destaca la capilla con artesonado plateresco, el retablo de la virgen de la Inmaculada y la Sala de Grados con pinturas del siglo XVI; mientras el claustro tiene 2 plantas destacando las columnas de mármol blanco y azulejos.

VISITA : En Verano (Mayo-Septiembre) de martes a domingo de 10:00-13:30 y 16:00-19:00. Horario de invierno (Octubre a abril) de martes a domingo de 10:00-13:30 y de 15:30-18:30. Los domingos de Julio y Agosto cierra por las tardes.

UNIVERSITY (OSUNA)

The University of Osuna is a Renaissance-style building dating from the 16 th century, the building is rectanguar with towers at the corners; inside it stands out the chapel with plateresque coffered ceiling, the altarpìece of the virgin of La Inmaculada and the Hall of Los Grados with paintings of the 16 th c., while the cloister has 2 floors highlighting the white marble columns and tiles.

VISIT : Summer time (May-September) from Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 to 13:30 and 16:00-17:00. Winter timetable (October-April) from Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00-13:00 and from 15:30-18:30. Sundays in July and August close in the afternoon.

CASA DE LOS GOVANES (OSUNA)

La casa o palacio de Govanes y Herdara de Osuna se encuentra en la calle Sevilla 44, la portada de este edificio es del siglo XVIII, se estructura en 2 pisos, con grandes columnas de tipo salomónico, escudo heráldico y balcón.

HOUSE OF THE GOVANES (OSUNA)

The house or palace of Govanes and Herdara of Osuna is located on Calle Sevilla 44, the facade of theis building is from the 18 th century, it is structured on 2 floors, with large columns of Solomonic type, heraldic shield and balcony.

MUSEO ARQUEOLÓGICO (OSUNA)

El Museo de Osuna se ubica en una torre de época almohade, datado en el siglo XII; dentro tenemos 4 salas, dispuestas en 2 plantas, cubiertas con bóveda de cañón y de arista, tenemos colecciones de la Prehistoria de la Cultura Ibérica, romana y visigoda.

VISITA : Horario de Verano (Mayo-Septiembre) de martes a domingo de 11:30-13:30 y 17:00-19:00. Horario de invierno (Octubre a abril) de martes a domingo de 11:30-13:30 y de 16:30-18:30.

ARCHAEOLOGICAL MUSEUM (OSUNA)

The Museum of Osuna is located in a tower from the Almohad period, dated in the 12 th century, inside we have 4 rooms, arranged on 2 floors, covered with barrel vault and groin vault, we have collections of the Prehistory of the Iberian, Roman and Visigothic cultures.

VISIT : Summer time (May-September) from Tuesday to Sunday from 11:30 to 13:30 and 17:00-19:00. Winter timetable (October-April) from Tuesday to Sunday from 11:30-13:30 and from 16:30-18:30.

PALACIO CEPEDA (OSUNA)

El Palacio de los Cepeda de Osuna, se ubica en la calle Huerta 10, es una construcción que se data en el siglo XVIII, de estilo barroco, se decora como otros palacios con el escudo heráldico de la familia, y balcón; en los laterales pueden verse 2 estípites típicos del siglo XVIII y la imagen de Santa Teresa de Jesús, miembro más destacado de los Cepeda.

PALACIO CEPEDA (OSUNA)

The Palace of Cepeda of Osuna is located on Huerta Street 10, is a building that dates back to the 18 th century, Baroque style, is decorated like other palaces with the family's coat of arms, and balcony. On the sides you can see 2 typical “estipites” (pillars) of the 18 th century and the image of Saint Teresa of Jesus, a prominent member of the Cepeda family.

COLEGIATA DE N. S. DE LA ASUNCIÓN (OSUNA)

La colegiata de Nuestra Señora de La Asunción, es un edificio del siglo XVI, de estilo plateresco, se construyó con sillería, La fachada tiene 3 puertas, la central llamada Puerta del Sol, es el acceso principal. En la cabecera de la iglesia vemos el retablo barroco del siglo XVIII.

VISITA : Horario de Verano (Mayo-Septiembre) de martes a domingo de 10:00-13:30 y 16:00-19:00. Horario de invierno (Octubre a abril) de martes a domingo de 10:00-13:30 y de 15:30-18:30. Los domingos de Julio y Agosto cierra por las tardes.

COLLEGIATE OF LA ASUNCIÓN (OSUNA)

The collegiate church of Nuestra Señora of La Asunción, is a building of the 16 th century, plateresque style, was built with ashlar, the facade has 3 doors, the central called Puerta del Sol, is the main access. At the head of the church we see the Baroque altarpiece of the 18th century.

ACCESO A OSUNA :

Osuna se encuentra en la A-92 (Sevilla-Granada), por la salida 84 se accede muy bien a la zona monumental.

ACCESO PARA MINUSVÁLIDOS :

Visita exterior con silla de ruedas a todos los monumentos el acceso al interior es limitado y solo factible en el Museo; la colegiata de Nuestra Señora de La Asunción tiene un alto escalón en la entrada.

ACCESS TO OSUNA :

Osuna is located on the A-92 (Seville-Granada), by exit 84 you can access the monumental area very well.

ACCESS FOR HANDICAPPED :

Outside visit with a wheelchair to all the monuments, access to the inside is limited and only feasible in the Museum; the collegiate of Nuestra Señora de La Asunción has a high step at the entrance.
