INFORMACIÓN HISTORICO-ARTÍSTICA

Tenemos un complejo funerario único en España, quizás la mejor necrópolis romana de Hispania. Son monumentales y muy conocidas las tumbas de Servilia y la tumba del Elefante.

Existen columbarios que aun conservan in-situ sus urnas cinerarias.

HISTORICAL-ARTISTIC INFORMATION

We have a unique burial complex in Spain; perhaps the best Roman Necropolis in the country. We have monumental and well-known tombs like Servilia's tomb and Elephant's tomb.

There are columbaria that still keep their cinerary urns in situ.

Roman chronology of the 1st c. BC to 14th c. AD.

Horario de invierno (enero-marzo) es de martes a sábados de 9:00 a 18:30 y los domingos y festivos de 9:00 a 15:30; en primavera (abril – 15 de junio) es de martes a sábado de 9:00-20:30, festivos y domingos es de 9:00-15:30.

En verano (16 de junio a 15 septiembre) es de martes a domingo de 9:00 a 15:30 y el horario de otoño (16 septiembre a 31 de diciembre) es de martes a sábado de 9:00 a 18:30, domingos y festivos es de 9:00 a 15:30; cerrado el lunes. Entrada gratuita.

Winter timetable (January-March) is from Tuesday to Saturday from 9 am to 6,30 pm and on Sundays and holidays from 9 am to 3,30 pm; in spring (April – June 15 th ) is from Tuesday to Saturday from 9 am to 8,30 pm; public holidays and Sundays is from 9 to 3,30.

Summer timetable (June 16th to September 15th ) is from Tuesday to Sunday from 9 am to 3,30 pm and the autumn timetable (September 16th to December 31th) is from Tuesday to Saturday from 9 am to 6,30 pm; Sundays and public holidays is from 9 am to 3,30 pm; closed on Monday. Ticket free.

		MURALLAS DE CARMONA INFORMACIÓN HISTORICO-ARTÍSTICA Las murallas de Carmona son un complejo defensivo de 3,6 Km. de longitud, edificado a lo largo del tiempo, tiene elementos de los cartagineses, romanos y árabes; se cree que la puerta de Córdoba y la puerta de Sevilla son de origen romano; pero las murallas que hoy vemos son de época almohade, incluso hay reformas de época moderna. El Alcázar del rey Don Pedro I es hoy Parador Nacional. HORARIOS-ENTRADA Visita exterior. OTROS ENCLAVES También puedes visitar la iglesia de San Pedro, con su torre que copia a la Giralda de Sevilla.				WALLS OF CARMONA HISTORICAL-ARTISTIC INFORMATION The walls of Carmona form a defensive complex of 3,6 Km (2,23 miles) lenght, built over time, with elements of Carthaginians, Romans and Arabs; it is considered that the door of Cordoba and the door of Seville are of Roman origin; but the walls that we see today are from Almohad period, there are even reforms of the modern era. The Alcazar of the king Don Pedro I is today the National- Parador. TICKETS AND TIMETABLE Outside visit. OTHER SITES You can also visit the church of San Pedro, with its tower that copies the Giralda of Seville.

MURALLA: En el centro histórico. ALCALÁ DE GUADAIRA: Acceso por la A-92, a pocos kilómetros de Sevilla capital, el castillo se ubica en el casco antiguo. ACCESO PARA MINUSVÁLIDOS NECRÓPOLIS CARMONA: La visita es parcial, escaleras. MURALLA: Visita exterior. ALCALA DE GUADAIRA: El castillo es bastante accesible para usuarios de sillas de ruedas. Solo el patio.				LOCATION CARMONA NECROPOLIS: Access from Seville to Carmona by the A-4 direction to Madrid and Córdoba; in the urban area, in Jorge Bonsor Avenue is located the necropolis. INFORMACIÓN HISTORICO-ARTÍSTICA

Fue declarado Monumento Histórico Artístico en (1924). Tenemos una fortaleza con multitud de elementos de interés como el baño andalusí, silos, celdas, torres poligonales, pozos y bellísimas vistas desde las murallas. Cronología medieval de los siglos XII al XIII, con fuertes reformas de los siglos XV y XVI.

It was declared Historical Artistic Monument in (1924). We have a fortress with many elements of interest such as the Andalusi baths, stores, cells, polygonal towers, wells and beautiful views from the walls. Medieval chronology of the 12th to 13th centuries, with strong reforms of the 15th and 16th centuries.
