Caracena-Tiermes: Monumentos y turismo


		CARACENA: Es una localidad muy pequeña, pero con muchos monumentos de gran interés (las espectaculares ruinas del castillo, algunos cubos de la muralla, varias iglesias de estilo románico, el puente medieval y el rollo jurisdiccional). Además el pueblo es muy pintoresco y sus alrededores invitan a realizar una buena ruta de senderismo. TIERMES: Es una espectacular ciudad celtibérica, que fue romanizada, en la que se pueden admirar la muralla, el foro, el acueducto y las viviendas rupestres. Finalmente el medievo también dejo monumentos como la iglesia románica y la necrópolis rupestre.		CARACENA: It is a very small town, but with many monuments of great interest (the spectacular ruins of the castle, some cubes of the wall, several Romanesque-style churches, the medieval bridge and the jurisdictional roll). In addition the town is very picturesque and its surroundings invite to make a good hiking route. 		CARACENA: El acceso principal se realiza por la carretera N-122 desde El Burgo de Osma o desde San Esteban de Gormaz, siguiendo la ruta La Rasa, Navapalos y Fresno de Caracena. TIERMES: Para acceder a Tiermes hay 3 posibles accesos: Ruta 1 Desde la N-I, y en Cerezo de Abajo, coger la N-110 dirección Ayllon y después la SO-135 dirección a Montejo de Tiermes, pasar este pueblo hasta el letrero. El Museo se ubica en el pueblo de Montejo de Tiermes. Ruta 2- Desde la N-2 siguiendo la ruta Sigüenza, Atienza y Retortillo de Soria, donde veras el desvío. Y Ruta 3 – Desde El Burgo de Osma hacia Atienza y en Retortillo de Soria coger el desvío para Montejo. 		CARACENA: Las fiestas en honor a la Virgen (primer fin de semana de agosto), son las fiestas patronales de Caracena. TIERMES: Junto a Montejo de la Sierra arranca la carretera a Pedro (perfectamente señalizado), donde además de ver la ermita hispano-visigoda hay un merendero, donde puede hacerse un alto en el camino. La fiesta del Plenilunio, se celebra gracias al Hotel Termes, en las noches de luna llena. No te pierdas sus accesos en especial la puerta Oeste y la puerta del Sol; muy pintorescos son los arcos y canalizaciones del Acueducto, también se conservan tramos de muralla, hay un complejo termal, muy monumentales son las ruinas del foro, por todo el yacimiento veras vestigios de viviendas semi-rupestres de época celtibérica, muy interesante es la Casa de las Hornacinas y la Casa de las Escaleras, tampoco olvides la ermita romanica.
