CASTILLO DE LA ZUDA -TORTOSA

INFORMACIÓN HISTORICO-ARTÍSTICA

Tenemos muros que se remontan a época romana, pero la fortaleza parece construirse en tiempos del califa Abderraman III, de esta época quizás sean varias de las galerías existentes, un pozo de gran diámetro, un antiguo molino y 2 hornos. Después a mediados del siglo XII pasa a manos del conde Ramón Berenguer IV. Hoy en día es Parador Nacional de Turismo. La cronología de este castillo árabe-medieval es de los siglos XII-XV.

Al ser Parador Nacional solo los exteriores son visitables.

HISTORICAL-ARTISTIC INFORMATION

		CATEDRAL DE TORTOSA INFORMACIÓN HISTORICO-ARTÍSTICA La catedral gótica de Santa María data de (1347) y se erigió sobre un antiguo templo románico, la parte más original es la cabecera gótica con bonitos arbotantes; pero la fachada actual en cambio es barroca, data de (1757); la planta es de 3 naves cubierta con bóvedas de crucería. HORARIOS-ENTRADA Horario de verano (Mayo a 13 de octubre) de martes a sábado es de 10:00 a 14:00 y de 16:00 a 19:00, domingos de 11:00 a 14:00; el horario de invierno (14 de octubre a 31 de abril) es de martes a sábados de 10:00 a 14:00 y de 16:00 a 18:00 y los domingos de 11:00 a 14:00. Entrada general 4 €. TICKETS AND TIMETABLE Summer timetable (May to October 13 th ) from Tuesday to Saturday is from 10 am to 2 pm and from 4 pm to 7 pm; Sundays from 11 am to 2 pm; the winter timetable (October 14 th to April 31th) is from Tuesday to Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm and from 4 pm to 6 pm and Sundays from 11 am to 2 pm. Tortosa fue siempre una plaza estratégica de primer orden, los trabajos arqueológicos han identificado muros de época romana, en algunas partes de la localidad hay muros medievales del siglo XIV y en otros tramos de época moderna de los siglos XVII y XVIII. Uno de los tramos de época medieval más interesante es el del barrio de Remolins, del siglo XIV, en el ángulo NE de la ciudad.

Tortosa was always a strategic place of first order, the excavations have allowed to identify walls of Roman rime, in some parts of the locality there are walls medieval of 14th century and in other sections of modern period from 17th and 18th centuries. One of the most interesting sections of medieval times is in the Remolins neighborhood, from 14th century at the NE corner of the city.

		ACCESO - TORTOSA ACCESO El acceso se realiza desde la AP-7 o desde la N-235; después puedes coger la C-12 o C-42 que llevan a Tortosa. ACCESO PARA MINUSVÁLIDOS En líneas generales el acceso para minusválidos es factible, a los exteriores del castillo de la Zuda y a las murallas. Más complicado es el acceso al interior de la catedral, pues tiene una amplia escalinata.				ACCESS - TORTOSA LOCATION Access is from the AP-7 or from the N-235; then you can take the C-12 or C-42 that go to Tortosa. ACCESS FOR THE HANDICAPPED we can really say the access for handicapped is suitable, to outside of the castle of the Zuda and to the walls. More difficult is the access inside the cathedral, because has a wide staircase.

		COLL DE MORO (GANDESA) INFORMACIÓN HISTORICO-ARTÍSTICA Tenemos una interesante muralla de piedra, conservándose muros de hasta 8,6 metros de altura, el poblado tienen hasta 3.300 m2. Tenemos habitaciones rectangulares, con hogares y grandes tinajas. También hay un sector de necrópolis con tumbas circulares, están en la zona norte de la carretera y ocupan hasta un kilómetro de extensión. La cronología es de Edad del Hierro. HORARIOS Acceso libre. ACCESO El acceso se realiza por la N-420 en el tramo entre Mora de Ebro y Alcañiz. ACCESO PARA MINUSVÁLIDOS No es factible la visita para sillas de ruedas.				SITE OF COLL DEL MORO (GANDESA) HISTORICAL-ARTISTIC INFORMATION We have a very interesting stone wall, conserving walls up to 8,6 meters (28 ft) high, the village have 3,300 m2. We also have rectangular rooms, with hearths and large jars. There is also a necropolis area with circular tombs, are in the north of the road and occupy up to a kilometer in length.
